We stayed overnight on February 8th after a long day of travelling and arrived at Omau Settlers Village to be met with a warm welcome and a quick and easy check in service. With car parking so close to the accommodation we were in our chalet within 5 minutes and pleasantly surprised by what we found. The accommodation was light,...

It's a very clean, quiet, and well-located place to stay. We were in unit # 1, a very clean room with good cross-ventilation, and a small back deck. There's a secluded hot pool out back away from the rooms, which you sign up for in 30-minute allotments. Plenty of parking. And it's within easy walking distance of a pub nearby,...

Wow, what a find! Having booked a wine tour around the Marlborough region with my husband, I decided I really wanted to run a marathon in New Zealand if I could. I chanced upon the Buller Gorge and my goodness, what a brilliant marathon it was. I googled accommodation and this place came up and I am struggling to think...

Karen and Lee are wonderful friendly hosts. Omar Lodge offers a relaxing stay, close to the beach and lighthouse as well as a spa surrounded by ferns. The rooms are clean and the breakfasts are great with freshly baked bread and home made yogurt. We have booked our next stay already!

We booked Omau Settlers Lodge because we were let down on another booking. How fortunate was that! This was a lovely place to stay. Clean and tidy and up to date. We were made most welcome and helped in finding something to do. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the seal colony. The name Cape Foulwind does no favours to...
