The 3 of us stayed for a couple of nights, very conveniently placed across de park and river, the city AND the ZOO. My son likes it. We stay here almost every year for the last 6!! Could have been good this time, except for some yelling neighbours!!

Hi Bea_HKurrajong, Thankyou for your feedback. We are extremely pleased you enjoyed your stay and the convenience of Tallarook. And the young lady......my daughter Mia. A chip off the old block. We hope to see you again. regards, Richard, Mia and the Tallarook team.

The Tallarook Motor Inn is in a nice spot opposite the parkland on the river. Reception was friendly but we found it a bit odd that the young lady was sitting out the front having a smoke. The room was OK, pretty dated with a small bathroom that was very clean. The bed was comfortable with a good selection of...

Hi Steven N, Firstly I would like to thank you for mentioning the cleanliness off the room. It is very important to me. And I agree, If I had a magic wand I would love bigger bathrooms, but they do the trick. We are commencing our next round of renovations next week, so the Tallarook is getting better all the...

My mum and I stayed in this motel en route to Adelaide from Newcastle. I had read good reviews about this place on this (trip advisor) website so thanks to all you guys who reviewed this place and recommended it. I just booked a regular room and it had ample space. Stayed overnight , friendly helpful owner. He recommended the Westside hotel dinner which was good . Nice swimming pool for a dip. Only slight downside was the traffic noise from the main road nearby but not too much of a problem. It was well equipment with kichen equipment included a proper stove if needed.

Hi Peterofware, I am glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for taking time to review. The pool is certainly the place to be in the summer months. And the road noise, its funny, we have our regular guests that request those rooms. It what your used to I guess. Most motels are right on the highway. At least we...

We only stayed overnight in the Tallarook Motor Inn while we were on a big road trip up to the north of Queensland, but we loved our stay there. The manager was super friendly and great at giving us advice on a place to eat for the night and helping us find the nearby running tracks. The rooms were more...

Gidday Jack O, I remember you stayed in one of our 2 room apartments. Aka "sin bin", but from all reports you behaved and did not get put in the sin bin! Thanks for the great feed back and I happy you found our location across the road from the running track along the river good. We hope to see...

Not sure why this place rates so highly. Could be because you get a friendly email after staying asking you to review on Trip Adviser. The service was very good and for a quick overnight stay while travelling through it was good. The accommodation is very old and tired and after walking and driving around Dubbo I am pretty sure...

Hi Family_2_young_kids, Thank for your review of Tallarook. Its quite possible you got one of our rooms that have not been refurbished yet. But I am extremely pleased you thought our service was good, most important thing really, and you have a comfy overnight stay. Hi Shaz9808, Are we love getting the people from Cobar and Bourke and all the other country towns in the region stay with us. Its sort of like a home away from home. After having read some of the reviews for this hotel, we were a little disappointed with what we found. The room was large, clean and fairly comfortable but quite out-dated.
