The YHA is very convenient, walking distance from the beach and from lovely cafe for breakfast. The service is good, the rooms and bathrooms are clean, and there are lots of nice places to just hang out. Gotta love all the activities on -- especially the Thursday night free BBQ!!!! Absolutely fantastic, would recommend.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hostel while on holiday in November. It was fantastic! The staff was very helpful and friendly and the people who stayed there were very reapectful. The hostel offered information on free activities, hosted events with visitors and gave good recommendations on things to do nearby. It's close to the beach and easy to...

This hostel is like every YHA hostel good. Friendly staff who will help you with anything. Clean shower and toilets. They are a little bit old but it's clean and that's more important for me. I was staying couple of nights in the hostel. When we came to the hostel the recepcion was closed (3pm) and we needed to wait an hour before the recepcionist came back. I think it is weird time to have a break cos there was coming longdistance bus on the time. I wanted ro go to the wine excursion and...

The experience was easy and simple. The accommodation was clean and tidy. It is a heritage listed building, but is in excellent repair. I think the price was completely fair for the stay. We had water views, a nice area room, could hear the waves at the beach all night. I'd recommend asking for an external windowed room away from...

Best hostel we've stayed in so far, clean spacious and so welcoming!! All facilities were good including the kitchen and eating area. Defiantly would recommend staying here and would return, YHA hostels seem to be better than others on the whole.

This trip to Caves beach is worth every second of travel. We arrived there before sunset and rewarded by the magnificent view of the sunset. The beach is entirely unique amongst other beaches I've been to different countries and in Australia. The rocks formation are very distinctive and the soft beautiful sand. Travellers can get inside the cave to marvel...

We arrived at round 7pm with our two children 1 and 6. The staff were very nice letting me know all the info I needed. The building outside is beautiful but inside it needs a lot of work! It's very scrappy and unkempt. The room itself wasn't clean enough for two children who get into everything and the window was...

I had a day in Newcastle between bus trips and needed somewhere to store my bag. The woman at reception was so helpful in letting me use the luggage room free of charge (as it wasn't peak season) and allowing me to use all the facilities for the day. It's a lovely, old, wooden building with beautiful leather couches in...

Incredibly nice location, close to the markets and the beach, the hostel is clean and beautiful. The staff is incredibly Friendly (and can speak German, yay) and the Atmosphere is just amazing. A real Backpacker haven!! The lounge room is beautiful and really vintage, the free WiFi is also very fast and a nice addition to the overall greatness!
