This was the first time I had stayed in this hotel. I was in Newcastle with my partner for a mix of business and pleasure and chose the Crowne Plaza for its proximity to where we needed to be and because we thought that being right on the water might be interesting. We were so impressed by the flawless way...

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza for business. The location was fantastic right on the foreshore for afternoon walks and close to great trendy restaurants for dinner. The room itself had everything I needed for a short stay and staff were professional and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I visited.

Enjoyed the service from the minute I arrived. Parked at the doorway and vehicle collected and parked. Rooms were very generous in size and the rooms were very quiet. Great views of the harbour. On check out my vehicle was already parked out the front ready for collection. Staff were very friendly , accomadation great, all meals fantastic and great...

Great Newcastle location, right in the middle, flat walking distance to beach, pubs, hunter street mall and Darby street. Loved our view of the harbour, such a busy spot, we somehow managed to miss four coal ships coming and going, opening the curtain as the tugboats were coming back...anyway....it really is a nice spot. Pool is nice too. I think...

First time staying at Crowne Plaza in Newcastle. It was located centrally with a nice view over the harbour. The valet service was quite good and the rooms were spacious. The design of the hotel is somewhat strange with one lift for an entire floor and long walks down the corridor reminiscent of Vegas. Our room door was jammed and...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a room with a balcony for $25 per night, as we had a harbour view room, I thought it would be nice. However I was a little disappointed as the balcony was so small there is not even enough room...

Located on the board walk beside the river, great service, prompt and friendly. If you do not wish to dine in the hotel there are plenty of eateries within 5 mins walk to suite all tastes. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet.

Cmcna12, thank you for your lovely review! You certainly made the right choice in booking a Harborview Suite - the view over Newcastle Harbour is second to none. I booked two rooms for a business trip. The hotel Internet was patchy and not the best. Location is fantastic with the Harbour, cafés and night spots right outside. Hotel bar closes too early. Parking was more difficult than it needed to be. A little pricey for what you get and the rooms could do with a spruce up. Still...
