This accommodation is very average. The Pub accommodation is disappointing. Don't be taken in but their "budget" price. Pay a bit more and stay elsewhere. The beds are uncomfortable, the rooms oppressive and there is no air con.The fans are inefficient and it is difficult to open the windows. The lighting is poor and the experience overall is not good.I asked...

We stayed in the detached "Units", not the main Hotel Canabolas. It's fairly clear the "Units" were added to the main property, as there is no service desk anywhere near the motel units. To check in, you have to walk a block and a half to the Hotel Canobolas after you pull into the motel units and park. If you...

We recently stayed at the Motel Canobolas - after finding it. The address does not match its location. The site was partly a construction zone with materials laying about and workmen on site. Eventually we found signs that sent us to the hotel on the other end of the block!. One staff member did not know how I was checked...

We made a mistake. The best I can say is that the rooms were clean, the daily service was efficient and it is close to the CBD. Substandard for the price, this place is in need of renovation or demolition. There are no security, no reception and no frills. Got a second suitcase? Open it on the floor. Want to...

Very basic. After a long trip it was very disappointing. Looked good on the photos but not so in real life! Expensive for what it was. Same price in Goondiwindi got us a much better room. Won't be staying there on our return trip.

Very small room with no frills. Located close to pubs, restaurants and cafes in town. Has air conditioning which is handy because bathroom has a window that can't be closed so at least you can heat up the room. It's clean but because of the open window we had some mosquitoes at night. They need to provide a hand towel...

This would have to be the worst motel I have yet to encounter. After a long drive, this looked OK as it was close to eateries etc. We had to walk around the block to the Occidental Hotel to make the booking. Once seeing the room I would have booked out but the thoughts of going around the block again...

Having read some good reviews, we decided to overnight here on a trip out west. We arrived around 5.30pm and found the motel easily. Check in was actually elsewhere, a 3 minute walk down the street to the Hotel Canobolas. After a bit of hunting, we found the check in counter and attempted to check in. We were told that...

This motel has been taken over by another hotel a street away and so reception is a walk away - this is not great after a long day's drive. The room is very basic, it was clean but lacked extras at all- only two pillows- a tiny bathroom and next to the road so noisy . There is no food...

Getting to Orange late and leaving first thing next day so just wanted something clean and comfortable overnight. This place was fine. Small and a bit worn but very clean and certainly adequate for a couple overnight. Not huge but as well as the double bed there was a table and chairs and fridge. Bathroom was fine and shower was...
