We stayed overnight mid-week and found our room quiet, clean and very comfortable. We ate at the restaurant downstairs where we experienced excellent service and enjoyed a delicious meal. We would happily choose this hotel again when visiting Orange.

Room Tip: I suggest avoiding a room that overlooks the courtyard on a weekend when it might be noisy.

Visited Orange over a long weekend and decided to stay at Parkview. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of accommodation given its a pub. Location is by far the best in the heart of town walking distance to great eating joints, shopping and bars. Since we didnt drive, being in the centre of town was a great advantage. We booked Deluxe Room (think it was #4) which was in a small enclosed space with a common lounge area shared with other deluxe rooms. Well insulated and recently renovated. The hotel & the pub overall were well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and very helpful. They had live music on friday and saturdays which can compete with any great pub in Sydney. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Parkview Hotel to anyone visiting Orange.

Dinner was very good. In fact the lamb shoulder was the best I’ve ever tasted. Friends had the wagyu and scotch fillet and it was very good as well. They have a lovely beer garden out the back as well.

Good food and wine selection for a walk-up when few other options available in Orange on a public holiday Monday. Fully booked when we arrived but found us a table al fresco - quick counter service meals and local wines as well.

Stayed overnight to go to a nearby function. It looks like your normal early twentieth century hotel typical of so many NSW towns. But the room was clean, very comfortable and the usual toiletries were better than I would have expected fro the room rate. The same for the tea/ coffee provisions. The only downside, and it is common to all hotels like this, is the noise from the pub. But I was expecting that, the choice was made on price, and we got excellent value for money. Some rooms will be noisier than others; rooms 6-9 are probably about the worst.
