Our stay at Villa Provence was lovely, clean and roomy accommodation, lovely grounds, close to restaurants and cellar doors, the woman at the front desk was very friendly and ushered us to our room. The heating was on so made a wonderfully warm entrance for us on a cold and windy day.

My friends and I stayed here for one night following a wedding, and we were pleasantly surprised about the quality of this establishment and how comfortable it was. I admit is was a little tricky to find, but once there it was total tranquility. Good location to cellar doors on Hermitage Rd, Hunter Valley Gardens and other wineries in Pokolbin.... More

Villa Provence is in the area of the Hunter valley, quite remote from the main area. I was surprised to be able to "check in " without even seeing the person in charge. We were told to go to our room, and find the key to our suite at the door. There is a nice cottagey feel about the place,... More

Stayed over the long weekend and didn't see ANY staff member at all during our stay. Check-in and out was DIY with the rooms unlocked and key inside. Our studio room above the reception was cosy enough but the floors lacked insulation as any footsteps in the room can be heard downstairs. The fittings are simple and neat, but the... More

We stayed in the champagne room which was upstairs- views from the Juliet balcony are absolutely lovely. Not sure if they use rain water on property, felt quite upset in the tummy on the first day there and have gotten sick from rain water previously. if not my apologies it could've been food! Lovely big swimming pool refreshing as the... More

Beautiful location in the middle of a vineyard. Definitely had the feel Of being somewhere in Tuscany enjoying the views. The owners were most accommodating & lovely. Will definitely be staying here again when we're next in the Hunter valley.

My husband and I stayed here to go see Bryan Adams at Bimbagden (it was awesome!!) We found it really peaceful and comfortable and the pool was fantastic - so clean and refreshing in the heat. I was really pleased to find the fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, milk, butter, musli and wine waiting for us in our room - thank... More

We stayed here for a weekend for a friends wedding and the stay was enjoyable. Lovely peaceful area and the room was large and pleasant. The provided breakfast of fresh fruit, muesli and toast was enjoyable. The only complaint we had was the walls were quite thin so we could hear everything our neighbour was doing however this wasn't a... More
