We only stayed for two nights but were lulled into deep relaxation and tranquility the moment we opened the enormous sliding doors. The industrial architecture and layout reflect great thought and is perfect for 4 people. Opening out onto a large deck and overlooking the open pasture, rows of vines, dams and with the mountains in the distance, it is...

A fabulous setting for celebrating our mum's 60th! We relaxed as soon as we walked through the massive sliding door and that's how we remained for the duration of our stay. Very well appointed, comfortable beds, fully self contained, peaceful and serene location - we wanted for nothing. Will stay here again.

We stayed with friends for two nights. We love the Longhouse's history, design & simple luxury. Although it seems far away from everything there are plenty of faculties within a short distance - close enough to bike ride if you were inclined. The breakfast basket was superb plentiful. Highly recommend The Longhouse.

We loved our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, with some friends. It is an architectural delight, surrounded by stunning Australian landscape. Buy food for a bbq and lots of wine and cheese, and you can cook up a feast and never leave your oasis. There is a pool next door which we didn't get a chance to...

We stayed one night with another couple and had a wonderful time. It was so relaxing that it felt like we were there a lot longer than 24 hours ! The accommodation is exactly as shown in the photos and is a credit to the architecture students involved in the project. We only live 40mins away and will be making...

This is our second visit with our 19 month old boy. My husband and I don't want to leave and have spent hours talking about when we can rebook! Style, luxury, privacy and cooking facilities emerced in the vineyards. The longhouse is a hidden treasure!

We visited this place just after the New Year with my brother and his partner who were returning guests. We had a fabulous time. The accommodation is so quirky and the setting/location is amazing. We wouldn't have missed it for anything - seeing the kangaroos in their natural home is quite an experience. I also think it is excellent that...

“No wifi as another guest had abused the service. Dirt acess road so do not clean you car before you go. Do take your coffee machine with you so you enjoy a coffee on the full length balcony in the mornings. Often the hot air balloons pass by in the ealry mornings.”
