We spent a couple of nights at Hermitage lodge. It was clean and comfortable and our rooms were spacious. It's a small hotel in a great position to tour the vineyards. Great breakfast supplied to eat on the verandah or share a glass of the hotels own wine in the evening there.

My husband and I had a fabulous time in the hunter this weekend. Hermitage Lodge is absolutely spot on. We stayed in a Vineyard Suite. Big rooms with big bathroom. Super comfy bed. Breakfast is yum. The restaurant on site is fantastic. They do takeaway also. Super friendly staff all round. Gardens are beautiful. Love it. I will be back.

We stayed at Hermitage Lodge to attend a wedding in the area. The room was very comfortable, had a lovely outlook, was quiet and the breakfast supplied was very pleasant. The staff were very friendly and obliging but the jewel in the crown is the restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious meal, beautifully presented and, rarely for us, we were tempted... More

The room was nice with the wooden deck out the back overlooking a little vineyard, the room it's self was quite large and so was the bathroom, The spa was a great addition.... More

Lovely, tranquil place to stay overlooking vineyard. We had a studio + suite for two couples. Studio is huge and you'd only really need the suite if you particularly want a bath tub or to self-cater. Terrific Italian restaurant on-site - suspect our booking was essential - and numerous eateries and wine places within a short drive. Highly recommended for... More

I never write these things BUT feel the need to this time. We had a ladies weekend away (8 of us, average age 40).. NO KIDS.. and used the Premier Suite as our "gathering spot". A fully equipped kitchen suited us fine so we could lounge around in our peejays, gas fire, footy on TV. A quick phone call the... More

We stayed for a few nights as a stop-over on our way to Sydney in order to explore the area and try some nice wines. The accommodation was adequate and spacious and there was allocated parking right outside our lodge. The location is perfect as there are cellar doors within walking distance if you don't want to drive (one directly... More
