We really loved our one night stay in the HoneyTree room at Hermitage Lodge. We received a warm welcome at reception it was a nice touch to be shown to the room and have everything explained to you. Room exceeded our expectations - it was very spacious and we liked having the separate living and sleeping areas. We loved the...

This was our second hotel on our trip. I would describe the room as less hotel and more chalet. We had the Honeytree room. The end of a row of chalets with a wrap around verandah overlooking rows of vines. It was very hot on our visit. The air conditioning was ok but not great. The chalet had a small...

Wow! After being disappointed by my original reservation I took a chance on a this place as I drove by and boy I was happy! The lady at reception was so helpful, kind and accommodating. She managed to get us the spa suite at the last minute and it is BEAUTIFUL! I am so glad! The pool but very tranquil...

Great location and beautiful setting. Our porch overlooked a little vineyard, the room was nice, clean, and there was even breakfast provided in the fridge. We also ate at the restaurant which was delicious and also looked out over the vineyard. Hermitage was walking distance to a couple wineries and a short drive to most. Also, lots of kangaroos wandering...

The Hermitage Lodge is located centrally in Hunters valley region where is close to many vineyards. We stayed for one night, I booked from Agoda $170 per night included simple bereakfast : English muffins muesli yogurt and juice. The room views the vineyard, in good size and a big comfortable bed. the Lodge is near the famous Hunter Valley Garden,...

Overall, a quality, well run place and attached restaurant; we'd return if the two negatives were fixed. Positives: clean, spacious verandah studio overlooking small vineyard; attached popular, quality Il Cacciatore restaurant; close to centre of Pokolbin but still quiet;friendly hosts; great included light breakfast in room; generous cooked brekkie in "Romantic" package. Negatives: what had been a top quality king...

Have noticed that most of the reviews are from those who live down under...we live in Hawaii and my husband really likes King size beds. He also must have good internet connection because of our business. Well not only did Hermitage Lodge have these two important things, but also a great brekky in the refrigerator, fabulous restaurant on site, washer...

We stayed at the Hermitage Lodge for an over-night trip to the Hunter Valley. The location is great and within a short drive to lots of wineries. As there were just two of us, we did not stay in a suite, but the room was comfortable and clean and had a nice view over a small vineyard (that also had...

We stayed at the Hermitage Lodge for one night and thought the location was perfect, very central. The room we had was a one bedroom studio and was quite a good size, as was the bathroom. It was lovely to have a glass of wine on the verandah overlooking the vines. The rate included a continental breakfast which was in...
