We have just stayed here in a studio room as part of our 3 week trip. This is the first "excellent" review I have made on this trip, everything else has been very good but this was a standout. The room was very modern and extremely comfortable. A great view over the small vineyard. We visited the nearby vineyard Scarborough...

Good stay in Hunter Valley! We booked relatively late and only wanted to stay one night so had some trouble looking for hotels here in the Hunter Valley initially. However we lucked out as based on their calendar online, they only had the Vineyard Studio available for 1 night, so when I emailed the hotel to see if they would...

Very nice comfortable accommodation. We had plenty of space in a vineyard studio, although larger units are also available. Very clean and well equipped. Good value at £116 (about $180) per night in February. Most of the people at Hermitage Lodge were very friendly and helpful (and I am trying to forget how brusque the person was on check-in as...

We stepped out of the car into 40c. Very hot by anyone's standard. 5 paces to reception and we were greeted by a gentle breeze from the A/C and a big smile from Helen. What a way to start our 4 day stay. After a simple, no fuss registration and advice that she had already booked us in for dinner...

I don't often write a Trip Advisor review so it has to be very special for me to do this. Our stay last week at The Hermitage Lodge in Pokolbin was very special! We stayed for 4 days in a suite and we couldn't have asked for more, super clean, fully equipped kitchenette, comfey furnishings, deck overlooking the vineyard and...

We stayed in a Premier Suite at Hermitage Lodge for two nights just before Christmas 2016. The accommodation was exactly as we were expecting and perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 12), beautifully located among the vines, spotless, well-appointed with everything we needed and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the spa tub, the...

Beautiful rooms and property, great location, great restaurant... but a few small things stopped it feeling as special as it could have done. E.g. Website said it had 'complimentary guest laundry', but when we asked about it they said we would need to buy a washing tablet for $2 - seems a little silly when we are already spending $500....

The accomodation was billed on websites as being a quite hi-grade property with country views and was given high ratings but the property itself needed a re-fit and the pool was not that great at all. Average at best and not superb for the property. Location was the only thing it had going for it

Right in the middle of the action but still quiet. We had a fantastic room which was clean and spacious. We had a suite which consisted of a kitchen/dining sitting room, bathroom, separate bedroom and terrace overlooking the vines. I liked the breakfast concept of helping yourself in the morning, it meant we could relax on our terrace without having...

We spent 3 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it. In the heart of the Hunter Valley, rooms were clean and we use the pool tool. The restaurant wasn't open for breakfast, but they left in your room, muesli, yoghurt, orange juice and muffins with a selection of toppings. The restaurant food, was fantastic, so highly recommend it.
