My husband and I drove from Sydney to the lovely Hunter Valley for wine tasting. We chose the Cooperage B n B for location as well as what sounded quite charming. We arrived and were greeted by the owner who had obviously been working in...More
Unbeknown to my this was a concert weekend, so accommodation in the HV was scarce to say the least. This was planned as a very special mother/daughter weekend and then we were fortunate enough to find the Cooperage. Could not be happier. We stayed in...More

Hi, we also stayed in the Chardonnay room and in terms of size i'd probably describe it as average, definitely not small. However, you have acces via a double sliding glass door to a beautiful big verandah which has a stunning view over the vineyards and down to the lake - just delightful. You also have access to a huge common area which has those same views and theres also a theatre room for guest to use. The hosts are fantastic and the breakfasts (homemade by Gay) are second to none - just delicious! If your husband loves B&B's and vineyards, as my husband does, then look no further than The Cooperage.
