Staying at the Cooperage B&B was definitely a lovely experience. The retreat room was perfect for a girly weekend getaway to the hunter valley. Gay was the most welcoming person there ever was - suggesting attractions and offering assistance whenever it was required. Mornings at the cooperage were so relaxing, with the most beautiful breakfasts being served (especially the eggs... More

The Cooperage at Kelman Vineyard, Hunter Valley is a home away from home. We have stayed here many times and thoroughly enjoy the hospitality. The breakfasts served each morning is amazing, so delicious and very well presented. My favourite : the Ricotta Pancakes, the only place that serves such a fantastic dish. The suites are lovely, the favourite is the... More

We first discovered The Cooperage December 2013 when we went to see Alicia Keys in The Hunter. It is gorgeous place and the hosts were so lovely. The breakfasts were amongst the best I have ever had freshly cooked for each individual guest, ricotta pancakes with banana, maple syrup and caramel butter -omg! Served On the terrace with fresh grape... More

Had a great 1 night stay with my partner in Semillon room. Set in a vineyards, great hosts, amazing breakfast on the terrace, nice room, reasonable rate, etc. Its what you want in a small b&b in wine country. I suggest checking out their web site which has far better pictures and you can book online.

We spent a glorious 5 days at The Cooperage, staying in The Semillon room. It had everything you would ever need and more. The Nespresso Coffee machine was a delightful bonus, which they have in each room. Gay helped us out with a map of wineries, galleries, crafts, breweries, cheese and chocolate tastings. Our map was full, we had arrows... More

What a delightful experience ... ensconced amongst the vineyards in luxurious accommodation, where your hosts Gay and Warren ensure your every need is met - you can't ask for more. Our rooms (Shiraz and Semillon) opened out onto the wide verandah where we spent many hours relaxing and sipping on Shiraz (of course). The little extras set it apart from... More

We had a lovely weekend at the Cooperage. The breakfasts were delicious and the hosts were very friendly and helpful, they gave us maps and info on the area plus a recommendation for lunch. There's 2 bar fridges plus tea and coffee facilities, with enough utensils to have your own cheese and fruit platter made up of stuff you can... More

We stayed at the Cooperage on a busy weekend in July. Our hosts Gay and Warren made us feel instantly at home and gave us lots of useful information on the area that only an insider could provide. We stayed in the Shiraz room which was on the end and I think, a little larger than the others. It was... More

As everyone says, the food is amazing. REQUEST the ricotta pancakes if it isn't on the menu... Gay and Warren are great hosts, very friendly and attentive. The room was beautiful, even better than I had hoped for. The location is about 15-20 mins drive away from most places, but it's ok.. the kelman wynyard is so beautiful and the... More

Set in amongst a housing estate in a vineyard. Very large house with great rooms. Easy access to drive around the area. We watched a movie in the home cinema which is novel and fun. The breakfasts are exactly as described by everyone else. The hosts were lovely.
