I stayed here for one night, and that was plenty enough for me! The hostel is very much a "working hostel", where the majority of guests are staying there whilst working on QLD farms. This work is not always reliable, which means half the hostel has the following day off, so are out late celebrating, the other half are getting...

I went on the recommendation of a some people I met in Cairns. I can't complain about anything really. The hostel is pretty basic but I wasn't expecting much for a farming hostel. When I first arrived the TV room had terrible sofas but they are constantly trying to improve and now there are the most comfortable sofas ever! As...

I went here for three nights, Thursday until Sunday. At first when I arrived, I noticed some signs. They were angrily written, basically saying all backpackers ignore the rules, being very unfriendly and rude. This set the standard immediately, which is a bit sad. The have a nice big TV-area, an okay kitchen, but disgusting fridges and freezers. I'm not...

The hostel owners are like the Bundaberg mafia, the farms will only go through them so they can charge $170 a week for rent plus $49 a week transport to the farms. They lure you in saying they have constant work but in reality you will probably have to wait a couple of weeks before getting anything. When you doit...

My last review was rejected because it lacked enough detail. I hope this is detailed enough. Life is too short to be wasting it in this place!! it has to be seen to be believed. words cant describe the reality of how bad this place is. First off we arrive and are informed we have to pay 50 dollars deposit...
