Now if you want to stay at the Coolangatta/Greenmount area, you have any number of choices. We booked here based on the location and the cost. Do not expect 5 Stars, this is a budget/backpacker/tourist accommodation. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit on level 5. As you will see from other posts and opinions, there are some problems with...

Pros: - 1 block from beach, 3 to supermarkets, 1 to restaurants - swimming pool - simple breakfast - washer in room - balcony Cons: - bar downstairs is loud until midnight on weekends - including Sundays. Get higher floors if possible - no towels - no kitchen but there is a $7 daily meal - fried stuff and sandwich...

I'm not really sure if this is a backpackers place or a hotel. It seems like the first few floors are for backpackers and the rest for families and vacationers. The place is right in front of the beach and on the main road. It's very easy to access. Pros 1. Room had a washing machine 2. Room had a...

This place was clean and good value for money. they played really tacky music way too loud but it drew a big crowd. the noise went out at 12 so it wasn't too bad. The food could have been better and we were missing a kitchen. Luckily the hostel is close to everything, especially the beach. This was an all...

This hotel is in a great location for families, right across from Greenmount beach and within walking distance of cafes and restaurants. Our view from the 5th floor was fantastic. The only negative about this hotel for families is the club located on the first floor. It is open until midnight Friday, Saturday and Sunday and can be quite noisy....

A backpacker place with a bar located on the ground floor. I suppose it used to be a studio apartment converted into a commercial accommodation. All "rooms" have similar setting with 3 bunk beds. Single toilet to be shared between the guests in the same "room" and no other common toilets made available which can be inconvenient when the room...

By the definition, a hostel should have a kitchen. So don't be alarmed if I call this a bed and 'breakfast' establishment. They say free breakfast too. But it's toast. And 2 cereal options. So me and my friend booked TOGETHER and were separated upon arrival. The girls in my room were fantastic so when one of them moved out...

We had a great time at komune resort. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm with an ensuite bathroom. The room was really clean and spacious. Unfortunately the free WiFi didn't work all the time. The room had a balcony with a great view of the ocean and beach, however it was also right above the bar which had live DJs...
