We stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean but very tired and in bad need of a refurb. The check-in process can be a little confusing but we couldn't fault the friendliness of the staff, and the location and views are spectacular.

The Pub is friendly and has good pub grub at a reasonable price, the cabins need a bit of sprucing up as they are very run done, need a lot of maintenance. Great location to visit the gorges and streams to chase the timid platypus

Good pub food. Staff friendly, location to die for. Had a burger here. Not cheap but a good plateful. Sitting looking right down the Pioneer River Valley towards Mackay - superb view! Building is now looking very tired but does have character.
