Noreen has a fantastic location, amazing house and was such a great host. Went out of her way to buy gluten free bread for our breakfasts. Nice spaces and garden in which to relax. Hot tub/spa and BBQ facilities. Full use of kitchen. Need a car to get about and don't forget the bug spray anywhere in Mackay

From the moment we arrived we felt like we had arrived in heaven. My business partner and I were looking for somewhere quiet and lovely to stay on a hectic tour of far north Queensland. We were also on a budget. Noreen has lovingly created a tropical paradise home away from home. We each had a lovely bedroom with very...

What a beautiful piece of paradise, private, welcoming and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host Noreen welcomed us with open arms and made us feel very special with drinks under the palm trees overlooking the ocean on arrival. We walked to the local tavern for lunch and enjoyed our evenings watching the sun go down on a...

Thanks to Noreen, our very caring and nice host, that let us choose between to rooms and showed us the beautiful house and garden in the Balinese style. It was great to just sit on the terrace, enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the sun go down. The bed was big enough for the two of us and the...

nice place. needs private bathrooms, the lady is nice and friendly. Awful cheep coffee (take your won). Sharing bathrooms is not a good idea, as some people don't leave them clean for the next person, plus too far from the front bedroom,

Loved the Balinese style. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful garden with a beer watching the water. The bed was big and comfortable and so was the bathroom. It would have been nice to have the bedrooms facing the water, but the house design would have to be reversed at much cost I imagine. Noreen made us feel so comfortable...

Our enormous (belated - sorry!) thanks to Noreen - who took in two weary travellers who'd been driving for 14 hours and gave us our choice of two beautiful rooms and guided us to a local store for a much needed bottle of wine that we drank watching the sunset in her stunning garden. We were up again early and...

We stayed for only one night but what a wonderful stay. Noreen and Terry were wonderful hosts. The choice of bedroom was ours and both were perfect. The one we chose had a magnificent bed which was so comfortable. The deck, gardens and view were fantastic. Great breakfast and our hosts were so informative and great to speak to providing...

You feel it as soon as you walk through the front gate and it just gets better as you go through the house with all its interesting paraphernalia and then wow. The veranda, the gardens, the palms, the beach, the view. You've got it all. Your hosts are very warm, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was healthy. My only regret is...
