We stayed two nights in this most beautiful hotel. We were shown around the hotel on our arrival and of course we had so many questions of the history of the grand home and we enjoyed being told all about its past. The furnishings are gorgeous, well maintained and clean. The staff are friendly and welcoming. One of the things...

Wonderful ambience in the old house. The hallway is superb and the collections of old luggage fit right in. With Gips restauarant a short stroll across the road with it's wonderful food they make a perfect combination for an indulgent sojourn.

Vacy Hall is a heritage listed house situated a short distance from the Toowoomba shopping precinct. It is a grand place with beautiful hallway and stunning large bedrooms. Our room had access to the verandah, and an open fire place. The ensuite (not all rooms have ensuites) had a good shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was no...

We have stayed at Vacy Hall 5 times and every stay has been delightful. Graeme and his staff are passionate about the house and it's history as well as covering every facet of good hotel accommodation. The rooms are tastefully furnished, comfortable and well appointed. Our best suggestion is to try and stay 3 days at least so you can...

This was our third stay at Vacy Hall and was perfect as usual. The first time (April, 2015) we booked the whole house over a weekend for our daughters wedding which was wonderful combined with the ceremony and reception at Gip's across the road. So many wonderful photos in the beautiful surrounds of Vacy Hall. Next was Sept, 2015 when...

We stayed at Vacy Hall overnight as we had to come to Toowoomba to attend a family funeral. We had always wanted to stay here so we took this opportunity. What a wonderful experience we had. You enter Vacy Hall through a beautiful circular driveway set amongst a delightful historic garden. Right from our arrival the staff member was incredibly...

We loved our stay at Vacy Hall. Such wonderful ambience and fabulous gardens. We travelled to Toowoomba by train so chose Vacy Hall because of its proximity to the station. We were very happy with our choice. The staff are friendly but very much in the background which is just the way we like it.

Stayed here for the 3rd time & it always pleases me that everything is so consistantly well done. The little heritage touches, welcoming staff, floral soft furnishings, electric blankets, heating, verandah brekkies in the sun, bathrobes make it such a comfy & comforting experience! Be kind to yourself & treat yourself to a lovely time!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Vacy Hall is like a time capsule that offers guests the opportunity to step back in time to a space where things were slower and less complicated, people had more time for each other and the world was more gracious. Built as a wedding present for the daughter of a wealthy squatter and pastoralist in the 19th century, Vacy Hall now provides travellers with a romantic experience reminiscent of the glory days of the 'squattocracy' with the convenience of a CBD boutique hotel. ... more   less
