I stayed at the Arthouse Hostel with 4 other boys. I would do it over again. Everyone there is so amazing an friendly place is clean. Especially the Management. We received nothing but great customer service. Definitly a healthy thing towards the tourism industry. Keep up the good work. To the CEO of this hostel you have an amazing team...

Depends on your age. I am Gormengast vintage but visitors of all ages and cultures will feel charmed by the smell of beautiful timber. There is a chap playing gitar on the balcony, he sings a bit and you will be so happy you may well join in the baritone. The rules are well enough observed that the place isnt...

If you are looking for a quality hostel w/ good customer service - look elsewhere! There are much better options in Launceston! The building is old and run-down, the rooms are crowded, and the windows do not open. Although FREE Wifi is advertised - it is very spotty and the owner not helpful nor interested in solving. Not a comfortable...

We stayed at this hostel for one nights stay whilst part of a tour. I genuinely feared for my safety in the bunk bed that I was sleeping in... An old wooden frame seemingly propped up with metal - it was shaking something horrible whenever the person on top moved! Not to mention the moving metal bars down the centre......

Service: -/+ Price: + Location: - Dorms: + Cleanliness: - It's smells weird when you enter the building and everything is really old dated. Dorms are big though. You need to pay to have a own doona/blanket ridiculous!!!! Especially here where it's cold. Location is ok, not great, but the real minus is that there aren't many food options.

The Arthouse Hostel is in a large old house, with lots of rooms and spacious bathrooms. It's spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff are friendly, easy going and welcoming. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I was in one of the attic rooms, which was old fashioned and airy.

This place is located just across the river in easy walking distance to the centre with all the shops and restaurants. Now. This hostel is a mixed bag. First the good stuff. The dorm are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean (soap and paper-towels provided), good showers (hot-water and good water-pressure), wifi is good and stable and...

We stayed here for two nights, our experience on the separate nights could not have been more different. The hostel itself is a beautiful old building with lots of character and a really historical feel. We arrived and we're checked into room one. The rooms was okay, spacious with 4 bunks. However, there was a seriously unloved feel to the...

Me and my husband stayed here for one night last month, booked online easily and collected keys from friendly staff when we arrived late afternoon. The building is really nice, like the character of it and our double room was fine and reasonable for $69 a night. Atmosphere friendly but sadly there are some negatives, the place felt a bit...

The hostel is definitely worth the price! I slept good and I liked my room (female dorm room) and that it had a balcony was also really nice! The staff is very friendly and they always help you out with everything! I really liked the woman who maked the beds, she was so nice and welcoming ! The only thing...
