We stayed for five nights in late December and really enjoyed the stay. The Studio is compact and basically one large room but the use of the space is very clever and it felt much bigger. The bathroom is gorgeous, bed comfy and huge wardrobes. Bathrobes, breakfast provisions, wifi, air con, all the comforts of home. Shared barbecue available in... More

We stayed in The Terrace apartment for 2 nights in early January and loved it! The owners have literally thought of everything. It comes complete with a fully stocked kitchen, coffee machine, dishwasher, CD player (+CDs), DVD player (+DVDs), magazines, books, hot water bottles etc. I can’t think of anything the apartment was missing. For this reason, it would be... More

We spent three nights here (in The Terrace) at the start of our fortnight in Tasmania, and it was such a perfect introduction. The hosts here have tried to think of everything; I often comment that hoteliers should stay in their own rooms regularly to see what it's like living with (for instance) two few hangers or ultra-thin curtains, and... We spent our last night in Tassie staying at 242 Launceston. I had emailed them the previous day to let them know we would be in Launceston quite early and they replied they would have our room ready by 12.30 at the latest. In fact it was ready by 11.30. Great service. We stayed in The Terrace. A very modern,... More

Thankyou tommyfromsydney for your review and for highlighting the old television in the bedroom. You were right, it did look out of place. As a result I have replaced it with a brand new flat screen Samsung. Thanks again, Pam More

Following recommendations on Tripadvisor, we stayed at No. 10 with our 14 month old, for 5 nights, and were not disappointed. It was great to find modern, well appointed accommodation which could cater for a family. No. 10 really is a small house - plenty of room to move. The kitchen was full sized and we made use of all... When we first walked in to the apartment we hit by the wow factor and was not let down for the 3 night's spent there. Surrounded by a couple of nice restaurants, pub and fronted by an excellent coffee shop. Well equipped apartment with every thing including a good selection of wines and beer this was a great first stop... More

We stayed for 9 nights in the Terrace and had the most amazing stay!! Katie the owner is so welcoming and the apartment was beautiful - clean, with lots of bright space and super comfy bed!! Katie put fresh eggs and juice in the fridge for us and a loaf of fresh bread! Such a nice gesture. If you are... More

242 Launceston is a fantastic little boutique lodging. The owners have gone to enormous trouble to add the extra touches that make this special. The decor, art works, DvD library, CD library, magazines had a lot of thought put in. Breakfast supplies were excellent and self serve wine selection was great. Sleep quality is excellent, comfortable bed and pillow selection... More

We stayed in the Terrace for two nights and found it quite comfortable. It is smallish and they have done what they can with limited space but the shower over the bath never really does it for me. On the other hand the bed was huge and very comfy. Loved the wine from the maxi bar (but not the beer).... More

We stayed in the Terrace with our bub. The minuses: * It sounds a bit dumb - but one main disappointment was the baked goods - out of a packet, not fresh baked which I had been looking forward to. * The other downside was one of my pillows had a black mark on it, * Lack of space in... More
