We've been coming here every year for almost 9 years now, always perfect, excellent staff, from reception to the restaurant, they are the friendliest staff we have ever come across, the rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The meals in the onsite restaurant from breakfast to dinner are excellent. Great location, only a few blocks walk from the mall.

Where do I start? We booked this hotel whilst on the road and very last minute (long story). Michelle answered our call and was lovely from the get go. Within minutes we had a room booked and Michelle said she'd have everything ready for our arrival. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcoming smile and news that we...

We stayed at the Sebel before and after a visit to Cradle Mountain. We found all the staff very helpful especially Michelle who gave us tips on restaurants, things to do and organised a wine tour for us at the last minute. The room was spacious, clean and just the right temperature. We only used the restaurant for some drinks...

As we were about to embark on the Bay of Fires 4 day walk, this is one of the hotels they recommend and will pick you up from to take you to the start of the walk. We also wanted to dine at Stillwater restaurant and it's an easy stroll from here which is why we chose to stay here....

The Sebel in Launceston is a great place to stay. Easy walk to the town centre, shops and restaurants. The hotel was extremely comfortable and very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and it was the nicest meal I have had for a long time. It was delicious. We booked a...

Often you get a room that seems very squeezed with what is in it, but The Sebel Launceston has well spaced out rooms with lots of space to move around. The room was well presented with a small mini bar, coffee plunger, tea and coffee. Our room was above the entrance to the car park but other than the wind...

Our room was quite large, with a verandah, separate bedroom + king size bed, extra large bathroom and shower, kitchen with full size fridge, hotplates, microwave and dishwasher. You could stay here quite easily for much longer than one night as it is fully self contained. The location is excellent. Our verandah faced the carpark and initially I thought it...

Used here as an Accor member. Had a suite on 1st floor but no noise. Was big & clean & very good value. I guess most things are close in Lawnie but you have the seaport only 5 mins away & the central town maybe 10 mins. I like buffet breakfast in hotels & find order off the menu skimping...

Thank you for your review and for highlighting our rooms, location and the service provided by our staff. I'm also really pleased you enjoyed breakfast. Our Head Chef and his team spend a lot of time developing and maintaining the menu so it is great reward for their hard work. Clock tower will keep you awake at night as it's on the same street, get a room at the rear you will sleep better. I was awoken 5 times on the Friday night. Asked to move rooms on Saturday they said were fully booked then when I mentioned reviews they instantly had a room for me, sounded a bit fishy....

Dear James, Apologies if there was any miscommunication. I've spoken with Rose who arranged your room move on Saturday morning. I think you may have misunderstood her, she explained we had a full house that coming evening so needed to juggle our room inventory in our computer system to accommodate a room move and requested time to do that. This...
