Drove to Ballarat Friday night about 7 arrival, the reception desk man very helpful, provided train times and when in Melbourne what to do to get to our destination, and the time to get to train station the quickest way. Organised brekkie to ensure we didn't miss out. Accomodation very clean and tidy. Hotel central to resturants. Would go back...

Stayed here for white night Ballarat. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was in the perfect location. 10 min walk to central Ballarat so nice and close to restaurants! And in a nice lit area so you don't walk back in complete darkness Rooms were clean and set up as requested with two beds!

Very clean, room looked really welcoming and attractive, had everything I needed. Very close to all sorts of dining experiences, and we chose to go next door to the Munster Arms Hotel - also very good. Owner friendly and welcoming, I will be back again next year and won't hesitate to come to this motel. What's more, I won't be...

what a gem of a place, right in Bakery Hill, walk to Ballarat Central, everything close by. Rooms are clean, bed was comfy and the manager was wonderful. Doesn't always pay to stay in very expensive hotels , if travelling to Ballarat then you cannot go past this one. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

We stayed here for White Night 2017 in an upstairs room. Design of the motel is the classical motel style of the 60s & 70s with a modern refurbishment. Comfortable beds, clean room and shower, good quiet aircon. Represents good value for money

Stayed here last week instead of my usual Motel in Bakery Hill and was pleasantly surprised by its quality of rooms ,cleanliness and friendly owners. Rooms are standard size with some with a balcony looking out over the Town and look to have been recently refurbished to a good standard. Far better then the ageing Motel next door that usually...

Central City Hotel is exactly that, in the center of Ballarat, close to many places of interests and restaurants by walking or car. The rooms are big, clean and the bathroom was huge. Peaceful night sleep was had as the rooms are set well back off the street and the beds are very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and...

Unit 1 - Twin room. Spacious - well equipped - very clean - good value - friendly and helpful hosts. Host Shane introduced us to an American couple staying, which led to a most enjoyable dinner and shared evening.

Extremely comfortable and decently sized rooms. Modern decor in the room and good shower and bathroom. Ballarat is quiet at night so no problems with noise from the road outside. Beds were excellent and the linen fresh and crisp. Great for a look around Ballarat or moving through the countryside.

If you want to spend a night away from Melbourne, this place gives you a great value for money while also providing a very good and spacious room for a very decent price. The staff was very helpful and the location was just a few minutes walk from the main town centre. If you have a car, then everything is...
