We stayed in the Superintendants Quarters with a 2 day entry to Sovereign Hill. Absolutely well worth it. Accommodation was clean, comfy with a touch of luxury. Buffet style breakfast in the morning was delicious. 2 Full days in sovereign Hill made it a relaxing journey back through time. Highly recommend.

We stayed two days to see the whole or nearly all of Sovereign Hill which the hotel is part of the complex. The lovely Sally and Justin checked us in and arranged for our VIP passes. Parking is open air and next to reception. We were given a room in the Residences which was a two story building next to... More

Definitely stay in the Governors Level suites as they are the nicest. My hubby, toddler and I went during school term , hoping to avoid kids. However, many school groups stay in the barracks and are noisy as they walk past to got to meals/see the evening show in the actual park. Otherwise found the rooms relaxing. They even had... More

We stayed in a sovereign queen room a spacious room with a very comfortable bed . The only downfall is the bath room, shower has the soap holder right in the way . Apart from this the room was good . I recommend staying there if you are going to the sound and light show . Which was interesting and... More

Booked the hotel as part of the couples package. Hotel has its own entrance into sovereign hill. Clean, warm and welcoming. It was a cold night and we had extra blankets and heater on. Receptionist was welcoming and very helpful. Free tea, coffee, milk, water and biscuits in your room, plus toiletries which was a nice touch.

Party of 7 enjoyed choosing well presented food which had something to tempt even the fussiest of our age 6-60 party.. Food was tasty and prices not ott given the tourist hot spot.. Each side of the hotel had nearly the same menu with the same price only one was fine dining and table cloths..The other more your saloon bar,... More

Lots of fun and very educational for Miss 9 & Mr 7. Interactive and informative. We found gold. The gold paning is lots of fun and the staff really helpful. Food is expensive so I suggest packing some snacks. We did the evening meal and show. I can highly recommend.

This was different to what I expected. I thought we were staying in a proper hotel but it was like turning up to school camp. It was very noisy - kids running around and babies crying - it is the school holidays. The cleaning could be improved also. The carpets weren't clean, bathrooms could do with some maintenance - leaking... More

We really enjoyed our time at Sovereign Hill (the museum section) and it was really handy having the hotel with a special door into the park The room was clean and tidy, they helped us out with extra bedding and the staff on reception were helpful and polite. The food was what you would expect from a hotel, I would've... More
