We stayed one night. It was alright and as expected for a motel. It was clean and tidy. The double bed made a weird squeaking sound - probably pretty old. The bed was made up with a blanket and it was pretty cold, but luckily there was a heater and we found extra blankets and got through the night. The bathroom was cold. Probably best to stay here in the summer. The room was big and there was a fridge, which was nice. It was alright for one nights sleep. Wouldn’t stay here longer, but if you like motels, this was perfectly fine.
We felt at home on our first 5 min there. Mandy and staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. we saw a pod of dolphin's across the road . Close to all shops and so relaxing. Best place and would highly recommend this accommodation to all
We stayed early March 2022 in a one bedroom Motel style room with large ensuite. It was modern , clean and comfortable and very affordable . Mandy and her team were extremely friendly and helpful. We used Public Transport from Melbourne and found Heyfield very easy to access. Flat even walking distance to many eating options , both the Esplanade and Marine Parade. We took a Lakes Cruise which was extremely informative and enjoyable We are a pensioner couple in our mid seventies.
Geoff the owner went out of his way to help us out with rooms during perk stay periods. What an absolute gentlemen! He is also great for recommendations on what to do in town. The rooms were neat and very clean and facilities great. It is very central to all the best restaurants, cafes and across the road from the beach. We couldn’t of asked for a better location and we definitively be back sooner rather than later!
We booked here for the boxing day to NYE week (knowing it would be at a premium) but based on the price and the photos on the website were expecting a much nicer accommodation. Unfortunately the one bedroom apartment was roomy but very old with lots of wear and tear. Beds were comfy, staff were lovely and rooms were a decent size. But the carpets need steam cleaning as were very sticky and dirty, doors didn't shut properly etc. The pool area was lovely but I think 'solar heated' must mean the sun shining on it as it was freezing. At a lower price this would be great value for money as location was great. With a bit of a renovation it could be wonderful.
Central location. Clean, neat, and tidy. AND Geoff. Host Geoff was a warm, friendly fellow who was keen to talk, help, and ease us into our week at the motel. Always up for a yarn, he was always available to help and advise. He was good value. The room/apartment was spacious, clean, and offered all we needed. The location was a nice walk to the center of town, which provided shops, a pub, and Woolies...every need met. The experience? It was quiet. Restful. One word? Enjoyable. Would we stay again? You betcha!
This is a basic motel on the main strip as you enter Lakes Entrance. Clean and tidy, pleasant office staff. Currently many rooms of all motels are taken by emergency people c leaning up after the fires. No evidence of these as we drove in from Melbourne. Currently the town is "feeling the pinch" of the recent disaster. A good place to eat is the local RSL, a great meal at a good price.
Location was good. Staff were friendly. No iron in room, front reception gave us a key to another room to retrieve an iron. Box air cons were a bit noisy. No electric blankets on beds but it was listed on room inclusions on internet. Shower floor was slimy and not very clean.
Owners are currently refurbishing as the rooms are a bit dated. The twin room I booked was clean and spacious. Great location opposite the marina and not far from eateries. Floating Chinese restaurant just across the road and floating seafood restaurant a short walk.
We were greeted at the Heyfield by Bella. She was welcoming, helpful, informative, friendly and professional. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The motel is well located for a short stroll to shops and sights, it was all we could have hoped for at such short notice in booking. Very happy with the Heyfield Motel, at Lakes Entrance.
