This place exceeded our expectations. We walked in late in the afternoon and requested the best accommodation available as the standard offerings on the website looked fairly basic. We had a larger room near the back of the property which was quiet, had parking at the door, very comfortable king bed with quality linen. The bathroom was roomy and all of our apps were installed on the television. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. If you like a walk, the lake is across the road at the front and back. Don’t be put off by the dated appearance of the outside of this property as the rooms are very well decorated.

I stay here 3-4 times a year, usually for two nights each time. Always clean and tidy rooms away from any road noise. Parking directly outside your door. The refurbished rooms are first class. nice decore, really good desk to work at which is crucial for my work. The wardrobe is now on a 45 angle in the corner of the room which makes much more room and very easy access. The couch, coffee table, and new carpet make these rooms really nice. Really, really good value for money. I don't stay anywhere else in Lakes Entrance.

We were in a room with a queen bed and a single bed. The room was small but adequate for our 3 night stay. The room was decorated well with quality linen. A microwave, crockery and cutlery were appreciated when we purchased take away. The room was exceptionally clean. Reception was friendly & efficient. There are a variety of room types to choose from. Parking outside our room. Ideal location to walk to restaurants, and shops.

There were pluses and minuses to this stay. The bed was comfy and the our room was very clean. We were only there overnight and I wouldn't stay again based on the bathroom.. it was tiny and cramped..that wasn't the only issue but rather the mould that was in the shower. The shower caddy was rusted and seriously these are cheap to replace.. the shower head was another issue. Whiles also tiny it had great pressure but the water felt like a thousand needles on your skin..turned it down less pressure but my 6ft husband could not fit under the shower head without showering with bent knees.. lots of hot water was fantastic. The hair dryer only blew cold air..

Lovely modern room decor and extra touches from the friendly staff. Close to restaurants, oppositethe water and the Chinese floating restaurant. Please note, however, if you book or view through Booking.Com and possibly other booking agencies, there is NO restaurant on site or breakfast options, as stated in Booking.Com as at 14.04.2022.

Stayed at this motel in 2017 and 5yrs later it hasn’t disappointed. Very comfortable and very clean. Plenty of hot water, bed super soft and gave a great night sleep. Host PETA was awesome. Room looks like it’s been updated too. Would stay again if at Lakes Entrance again.

We are currently staying here for our holiday & we’ve had the best time, rooms are well presented and clean, staff are very friendly, pool & bbq area are awesome! A special thanks to Peta for all the info when we first got here & jumping back on the computer after she’d knocked off for the day to squeeze us in an other night. Such a good place to stay in a very convenient spot. Thanks guys!

We stayed in Room 3 and there has clearly been a lot of recent upgrades - carpet, tiles and furniture. The bed and linen were new and comfortable. Unfortunately the skirting board and windows have not been painted for decades and make the room look grubby. New toilet and vanity and tiles in the bathroom but there are mould spots on the ceiling and the window frame is in awful need of a clean and repair. Most concerning was the black grout on the shower floor so we had to wear thongs to shower. Cleanliness is extra important when people are travelling in COVID times. The rest of the bathroom and room seemed very clean. The garden planter is empty with just dirt and a few rocks. There is a dirty and depressing looking table and chairs with a massive ashtray outside the front door which really brings the whole tone down. It’s a pity the owners didn’t use lockdown to get some R&M done. The location is good. I would not stay here again.

We stayed for a night in the 'suites' section. A double story affair which was extremely dated and sparsely furnished. The steep spiral staircase was a curio (and a challenge to get luggage upstairs!), but otherwise the room bordered on grim. The grounds and surroundings were certainly grim with the 'playground' and pool areas treated with caution, or possibly best avoided. The room was as cleaned as could be for such a tired and dated place. No real need to interact with staff, but the checkin process was extremely painless and easy.

Nicely located on the Esplanade. It was easy to find. We stayed there during the Easter and it seemed that every accommodation in Lakes Entrance had a 'No Vacancy' sign on. Check in was easy and smooth. We had room 2. At the front - right next to reception. The first night it was rather noisy but it settled after that night. The room was comfortable and functional. The bed of very comfortable and the pillows were great. The only things we could fault was in the bathroom. The water pressure was interesting - it required a lot of adjustments before it was right. The toilet required multiple flushing before it was clean. I would come back here again except I might ask for a room towards the back of the property.
