Forget all the bad reviews for this place, if your looking for a backpacker not flash packer vibe this is the hostel for you! with warm and friendly staff that make you feel right at home just as much as the other guessed do. Don't get me wrong its an old building so take it for what it is, no...

By far the worst hostel I've ever stepped foot in. I desperately tried to find somewhere to stay short notice and this was the only place avaliable. As soon as I arrived I got bad vibes instantly. The whole place looked run down, the guy at reception looked as shabby as his 'office', unorganised paperwork etc. ( and the lid...

Just to let you know that there was a clean toilet lid on the desk as someone had broken one and it was a replacement for our maintenance guy to repair. The sheets were clean and unstained as I remember giving them to her so I dont know what she is going on about. She was in a room with...

My partner and I stayed here for five nights and had an ok experience. We stayed in a private double room with a shared bathroom. Our room was old and dirty, but the sheets were reasonably clean and the bed was comfortable enough to sleep in. We had a small fridge and a toaster, which made our stay more convenient....

I would recommend going here, although i had never expect to say that when i first arrived. My first impression was an old, empty and unorganised place. But it turned out different. The owner/management are very friendly, and make you feel at home. The dorms are very very basic, but fine to sleep. The double rooms are very good, balcony,...

The corridors have a huge echo and people who stay here take advantage of that by blaring music through building all night every night, doesn't matter what time of night it is there's no consideration for people who might actually be in bed and have work the next morning, the beds are old and horrible, the rooms are old and...

The review by this guest does not reflect our establishment. These guests came to us from a phone booking - we showed them the double room which are our most basic as we are fully booked. I also gave them a promotional discount of one night free on a weekly booking so very cheap for this time of year ....

Stayed here for a while although it's a bit dated it's a very friendly atmosphere the staff are some times not around as it's not a very big hostel that is all I can fault them with when they are around they do everything they can for you. The kitchen has the basics cookers microwaves fridges and a freezer which...

This hostel does not advise people that there is another grey street the other side of Melbourne cbd. The hotel is dark and unwelcoming and could do with a face lift inside and out. I had a private room which was simple and clean. Also had fridge and toaster. Staff were OK on check in, they did not know how...

If you can look past the dated decor (much like your grannies old house) you will find that the Oslo Hotel is a rather pleasant and pretty chilled place to reside. Good sized t.v room, clean kitchen, clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Yes it has dated carpet and bed linen but it's clean and offers very competitive rates for...

Urine stained carpet, just yuk! Really old furniture. Mismatched threadbare sheets, no blankets. This place is etched in my memory (eww) and it is not a good thing. Don't go there, it really is not worth it.
