The Lord Forrest is starting to show its age even after a recent coat of paint, and no imporvements have been made to sound proofing. Rooms on city side extremely noisy, mostly from neighbouring rooms. The room is OK but the bathrooms are old and tired with toilets bowls that appear to have the cysterns repalced to low volume but...

Booked a quick getaway for myself and two daughters in January. Just a 3 nt stay to see a city we hadn't even stopped in before.... has always been bypassed on the way to Busselton and the South West. The hotel was in a great location - close to both Koombana Bay and also to the main beaches. Just a...

Been here many a time over the years , refurbished rooms have made a big difference . Staff are very good at reception bar everywhere and that's what makes the difference . Only downside is if you have s ute with gear in it parking is limited as most is underground, find for a car though Good hotel and nice...

I was a member of a group of firefighters who stayed in the area to help with the recent bushfires north of Bunbury. We were given the warmest of welcomes from the staff including a free drink to start our stay in thanks for our help. Despite the fact that we looked like something the cat had dragged in through...

I travelled to Bunbury for an Australia Day celebration with some siblings and their offspring. About 15 of us all up. Each family stayed at various separate locations. I stayed at Lord Forest with partner T. (She prefers anonymity) We were greeted by helpful staff, had no hold up from internet booking, were given clear directions to our room and...

We stayed in an (almost) apartment room (no kitchen but separate rooms/lounge/bathroom). The stay was decent. There was a big bath and double sinks. The toilet didn't flush though. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. A decent stay for a decent price.

It was once the best hotel in WA outside of Perth - about 30 years ago. Haven't stayed there for about 20 years assuming it deteriorated. How wrong I was. My room was 'as new' a big twin with balcony - 2 chairs on the balcony but no table. The bar and restaurant areas looked modern as well as reception....

Location is fantastic, near the city center, supermarket, cinema, Marlston Waterfront ( where you can find Dome, Barbados, Casella's the Spanish Tapas place I love, Taffy's candy n choc shop, and playground ). Pricing is so reasonable for what you get. Clean and spacious. Rooms on the third/fourth/fifth floor have amazing view. My room was on the third floor and...

This old hotel is reasonable value for money if staying a two bedroom apartment. It's certainly cheaper than 2 hotel rooms. And breakfast is included in the price (which could be well over $125 for us with our older teenagers). Yes the rooms are a bit tired as is the bathroom but it is clean and hygienic. Beds a firm...

We had a queen room, but the bed was smaller than a queen size bed..it was more like a double bed. Room was clean, but bathroom looked old with yellowing tiles and faded tiny bathtub. The biggest downsidefor me was the constant whooshing sound of air from the airconditioning, which went away when the door of the room was opened...
