Room was very cosy and all the buildings looked amazing! The walk into town is short despite being mostly uphill. The bed was warm and the restaurant had great food. If you're looking for a moderately priced but beautiful looking place to stay, this is what you'll want.

An old coach-house/stop-over from the 19th century. Part of a group of buildings managed from a single reception area, so if you can, stay in the original Bridgefield building. There's only 4 rooms available, they're compact, airconditioned (but air-con of varying quality), with private facilities, and there's a large comfortable shared lounge with a great fire for winter nights. .Service...

Stayed here for 3 nights over New Years. I was pleased that we got the room we did, detatched bungalow. Lots of character! Cute cottage with little verandah. Creaky floor boards and bed. Basic but very well equipped bungalow. Great location, we really enjoyed our stay.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights - loved the decor and old-fashioned feel of the place. Floorboards were squeaky however, and you can hear the neighbours in the next room talking so good to be prepared for that. Great access to Italian restaurant next door, and minutes to town on foot.

We stayed in the cabin which was very tiny but had everything you need. The location is great. The reason I gave it a 3 is the ash tray outside was full from the previous visitors and the bed was so little my 5ft 10 fella had his feet sticking out the end! It was also very dark inside. Early...

While the decor is chosen with great care, this place could do with some more attention to guests' comfort. Double glazing for example. And properly fitting doors and wundows. And a (small) tv to keep up with what's going on in the world. Can't fault the friendliness of staff or the cleanliness, but being on the highway and next to...

We originally were booked elsewhere which was a terrible first experience, we then re - booked our stay with Bridgefield where we were pleasantly looked after especially for last minuet accommodation. We were given a gorgeous cabin which was so cute in perfect location within the main strip walking distance to everything. It was just delightful and I think her...

We wanted to be on the High Street and we're lucky enough to book this darling little place for a great price even in high season January. Has everything you need. Comfy, cosy and so very, very cute. Loved it.
