We are a young couple 25 and 26 and we went to Yelverton Brook for my birthday at the weekend and WOW! For a romantic getaway this was perfect. The cottages are private and we absolutely loved the hot tub! Four poster bed and heated bathroom floors with fresh homemade bread delivered in the morning - what more can you...

A perfect way to get away from city life. A great little cottage with plenty of thoughtful extras. Not your modern city apartment but that is what we didn't want. The animals were an absolute delight!

The feeding of the animals was outstanding something very special, but we were very very disappointed in the standard of Accommodation, for the nightly cost of $350.00 it was way below standard, a shower beside a laundry tub for a bathroom is not on, The sheets on the beds where the best feature of the whole inside of the cabins....

Thank you for your review Sandra, we are sorry you were not totally happy with your stay at Yelverton Brook. Just to let you know we removed the word luxury from our actual name some years ago but have not been able to remove it from our main header on our website atm. We are a more country cottage feel...

This was our second trip to Yeleveton Brook and again it was the perfect retreat and getaway. The animals were out in full force and one Kangaroo was eagerly awaiting its food when we first got there. The spa was again a great way to enjoy the serenity and enjoy the stars. Perfect temperature in cool weather with a glass...

Thanks guys for the honest review we do try & help our guests enjoy the property. We have now been open for 21 yrs now & still the original owners/builders.....the first 3 are hand-made mud bricks chalets, each brick is 22kgs, 1200 per chalet so 66 tonnes of weight but does not count the shoveling into the cement mixer.... Thanks...

Whilst the architectural interior design was somewhat lacking, the most incredible array of natural and friendly wildlife made this a place to remember and recommend. We had kangaroos holding our hand as they fed, putting their paws on the glass of the door and looking in at us, possums right up to the windows and woylies skipping in and around....

My whole family of 3 reached the resort quite late but Simon and Joy were there to welcome us. Upon knowing that we actually have a 7 year old with us. they quickly made another bed for us even though we say its ok cos our girl sleeps with us. What I really like about the place is the animals...

This is the second year we have had a short break at Yelverton and we are looking forward to our next visit already. For a family of four, 'Sheoak" is a wonderful chalet - two double bedrooms, generous living/dining area and a lovely patio/barbecue area with your own hot tub. The shower/bathroom area is a little small/odd but the quirky...
