The motel is nice and clean, in a quite area close to town centre. Everything you need is in the room, including coffee, tea and chocolate. Room is spacious. Staff is very friendly and helpful. All perfect!

Greated with a smile and location map with directions, nice stay and very convenient to the town. Clean. Perfect for a short visit. The bed was a bit hard, that's just my observation maybe others wouldn't think so, but it wouldn't stop me staying there again

No criticisms at all - check-in was easy and quick, the room was clean and as advertised, the overall experience was value for money, and the motel was close to town. Would stay again if visiting W(h)anganui.

We booked online according to the positive reviews & we weren't disappointed. The room was so clean & tidy & had everything we required. Staff were friendly & professional & the Motel was busy which is a good sign. Very close to cafe's, shops & the river. Great location. Would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed, spacious and spotlessly clean unit. Carol is friendly and welcoming and motel is a short walk to the main shops. We came for the Whanganui Cemetery Street Race and the track is also within walking distance. Can recommend as an excellent choice.

Spacious, comfortable room, microwave, toaster provided, limited self catering is possible. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The town is surprisingly interesting and worth a visit if you like walking. A visit to the Winter Gardens and Druie Hill via the 97 year old elevator is a must. Very good value motel.

Lovely room near to the centre of town. Everything you could need in the room, comfy bed and quiet. The walk into the centre of town was easy. Milk provided for our morning brew. The shower was lovely and refreshing

Pleasant and quiet surroundings. Cheerful and helpful staff who bent over backwards to ensure our stay was memorable. Second time staying here. Normally stay with family but whenever that isn't possible this is our go to motel.

“Heating is available for chilly winter nights in Whanganui as well as extra blankets. Would ask for extra milk if you're staying more than one night and are not able to do grocery shopping. Having said that, the grocery store was just around the corner in Victoria Ave making the convenience of kitchen facilities a real plus.”
