Handy location to the Marina area with cafes and shops; around 20 minute flat walk each way. If driving, parking not a problem. We had Unit 8, upstairs next to busy road. Parking very tight for larger car, reversing out even tighter. Unit was very clean. Kitchenette, dining table and 4 chairs and double bed in main room (no sofa...

We three women stayed here one night, in midsummer. It was hot. The motel windows are large sliders, and on the ground floor we didn't feel too safe leaving them open for air - the road is a very busy one and the units are close to the pavement. Electric fans were provided, so we were fairly comfortable, but if...

If you are looking for a relaxing stay for an great price, I would recommend this place. The inside of our room (6) was cosy, quiet, and modern, and the staff were very friendly. The view was also quite nice.

We stayed here for one night. We arrived late at night and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. It was close the marina and town centre. For a quick overnight stay the room was ideal for what we needed before we travelled on to our destination the next day.

We stayed as a couple and one extra in apartment 1 which is next to the road. There was a bit of traffic noise, but it was ok. Getting into the parking in front of the unit was quite tight and we were glad we were in a small car! The unit itself was a 2 bedroom unit with a...

Very simple, clean, budget, accommodation. Easy to get to and has all the basics, with everything in working order. The studio room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Plenty of room in the open plan kitchen. Could do with power plugs in the separate bed area though for phone charging, and also bedside lighting needed.

I stayed in two different rooms at Marina Court. Room 6 was upstairs, and modern/updated. Very nice. Room 2 on the other hand was bigger, but also older. The location of the hotel is great though, right along the Hatea Loop walk. Easy, 15 minute walk to downtown. And woman at front desk was very nice. Laundry facilities on site...

Welcomed and made to feel at home. Friendly atmosphere for Lincoln lads to relax and reminisce/discuss. Great weather for walks to local restaurants around the basin. Locals greeted when out and about for walks and evening meals.

I spent 3 nights there this week while in Whangarei for work. The welcome was friendly and efficient. Stayed in studio (room no 5) which was roomy and well appointed. I enjoyed my stay for the reasons above! Thanks; will be back again ; will recommend to friends and family.

Unfortunately it rained, but we still managed to BBQ out back, and the host lent us umbrellas for our walk around the town basin. Very good value for the price - clean and modern with well equipped kitchen. We were on the top level with a peek-a-view of the river.
