This hostel is beautiful, and the facilities are great, The bathrooms and kitchen are clean, the staff tidies the kitchen up a lot and the wifi works very well. It's a great place to just relax for a while.

We had a nice stay while travelling up the west coast and visiting the pancake rocks. The owners were helpful and the kitchen was well equipped & large. The rooms were spacious and quaint with an African touch. We would come back again as we loved this hostel with the big garden!

Friendly and helpful host who provided map and advice on Greymouth facilities. Very colourful decor, with obvious care put into creating a backpackers with character. I appreciated that each dorm bunk had its own light and a power point.

The bathrooms were clean and I never had to wait to use the shower during my stay. The communal areas are fab...so many different places to...

Global village has an immediate warm and welcoming feeling. The staff were wonderful and tell you all about greymouth, show you around, and are very accommodating. The facilities are kept to a very clean standard and there is tons of space both inside and out to hang out. Wifi is great, which is another bonus. I would definitely come back...
