Having travelled all round the world, we have found that it is unusual that you come across a Rare Gem in the accommodation arena. However, we found this in our stay in the Kincaid Lodge. We have stayed in many different varieties of accommodation during or 40 years together, ranging from basic B&Bs to 5* Hotels, however, this place tops...

My new husband and I are on our honeymoon from Ireland and are travelling around the South Island of New Zealand. We stayed in Kincaid Lodge with Jessica and Greg for one night. What a beautiful place. Very classy. The little touches like strawberries and chocolate at night, fresh home-made cookies. Our only regret was that our stay was so...

On arrival, we both we're so welcome. The beauty, serenity and warmth of the innkeepers was overwhelming. Excellent breakfast and treats, and a European touch, also with a doubt the cleanest place we staying in a month of travel. comfortable, quiet and convenient

As all the reviewers have said Jessica and Greg are the most wonderful hosts. They made us totally welcome, even with the curve ball of an extra guest. Before we had arrived they had already sorted an extra spcae on our whale watch excursion. breakfasts were delicoius and the lodge is a perfect place from which to explore the coast....

Kaikoura is a great place to stop while touring NZ - the whales, the dolphins and the atmosphere are all fabulous. But staying at Kincaid Lodge really made our visit. Jessica and Greg are the most hospitable and welcoming hosts you could possibly imagine. The Lodge is a passion of theirs, and it shows in all the little things, as...

We were given great tips and and assistance with booking local restaurants, bars and tours. We would recommend this lodge to all...

This piece of paradise is perfectly situated just 5 minutes drive from Kaikoura. Our spacious room was the Pacific Room looking over the front lawn to the Pacific Ocean, was well equipped with beautiful bathroom and a super king-size bed. We were overwhelmed by the superb hospitality of Jessica and Greg (owners of this beautiful Lodge). They make you feel...

We spent 3 days at Kincaid Lodge and it seemed nothing was too much trouble for the owners Greg & Jessica. Even before we reached, Jessica helped to book us on the seal swim etc. They went out of their way to indulge us (port wine in the room, chocs and snacks post dinner, mags and books on the table)....

We arrived in Kaikoura by train at 10 00 am and were met by the owner Greg and his son Sebastian. Nothing was too much trouble for Greg and his lovely wife Jessica - they really tried hard to make their guests feel comfortable. The lodge is superb , in a great loaction but you really need a car as...
