We had a small studio at the back of the motel. Hadn't realised until arrival that we wouldn't have a sea view so this was disappointing. Small space compared to other motels on our trip, but clean and well equipped. Very good selection of TV channels and extremely friendly and helpful hosts, we didn't have a washing machine in the...

We stayed in a small studio room at the back of the complex. Unfortunately we didn't have a view. The room was cluttered and small but functional. It was clean and the bed had high quality sheets. The owner who checked us in was lovely and knowledgeable and recommended things to do and places to eat. For the price this...

We had a small studio in the back. It was clean, quiet and tastefully furnished. Expensive by comparison but this is a tourist town. The lady at the reception was full of tips and useful information which made our one night stay so easy. The location is fantastic - everything is within easy walking distance.

The room was lovely and very homely. The hosts were very nice and helpful. I would go back in a heart beat to stay here. Everything that we needed was here. The kitchen area was set up well that we cooked most nights. The lounge was great. The fenced in area at the front was great for the kids so...

I stayed in Kaikoura with my partner around the new year and we loved it. The staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms are serviced daily and the apartments are clean. We loved it. I'd stay there again. There is a full kitchen but it lacks basics like foil, oil and the knives are so blunt that we struggled to...

We stayed one night here as extended our stay in Kaikoura by extra night during our return leg of south island road trip . Coming from our previous hotel nearby White Morph we felt a little let down by its standard of furnishing etc . Location is good and get some decent views too !

Only stayed here for one night (unfortunately!) arrived on the Coastal railway from Christchurch at 10am (earlier than usual check-in time) arrived at appartments and owners happy for us to sign in early. Lovely owners who were very welcoming and full of information about the best places to visit, eat etc. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable and modern appartment. We had...

The lady at the reception was friendly and helpful. She told us where to eat, what to see, where to go and what to do upon our check in. She gave us a room facing the Pacific Ocean and helped us to set up the rollaway bed when she was going for her night walk at 10+pm. The apartment was...

Very nice apartment, upstairs with balcony. On the esplanade, so quiet. We booked the last apartment and it did have slight damage to the carpet edge, but this was pointed out to us on arrival and caused no problem. The apartment was spacious, well-appointed and well laid out. I made three trips on foot out to the Seal colony, including...

On our way to christchurch, we were both getting pretty tired so decided to stop in Kaikoura. The town was pretty quiet. This was around 10pm at night. Stopped at one motel that had vacancy sign up, lights out and doors locked. As we had stayed at"the waterfront",we were hoping that they had room. The office light was on so we...
