We stayed here for two nights, we stayed in a room with a queen and single bed. There is a kitchenette which was handy to have our own breakfast. The decor wasn't modern but everything was extremely clean. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We used the laundry facilities which cost $3. The location was perfect. A beautiful view from...

Our studio room at this motel was clean and comfortable - I have never seen such a shiny stainless steel sink bench and shower tray! I would love to know what they use to polish it with. One thing to note: the shower hot water is from gas heating and we struggled to get the temperature cooler than very hot....

Booked online ahead of going over to NZ. This hotel is a little further up the Esplanade, away from the the main shopping district, but still walking distance. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and very nice. It is a real shame that Kaikoura has been so badly affected by the recent earthquakes. I really...

The motel is situated on the sea front. It is a bit out of town but if you have a car, it is just 5 mintues back to town. We arrived a bit early and checked in without problem. The staff was very kind and told us where to go for some free sightseeing. The room is simple but spacious....

Very welcoming ,clean and very comfortable. Best nights sleep do far. The only glitch was with the the WiFi but the manager spent time ironing out the problem, very helpful snd nothing seemed too much trouble. If in the area again I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others

We stayed for one night en route to Christchurch. Friendly welcome. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Car parking right outside door. Great spot across the road from the sea. Had trouble connecting to Wifi , kept cutting out.

This is a basic and clean motel, absolutely fine for one night but I wouldn't have wished for an extended stay here. Room was clean if not entirely modern and staff were helpful. Good TV - and not much else to do apart from walking down to the town for food of which there was little choice at this point...

We stayed here in June as part of a South Island road trip. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable with all the basics and car park right out front. Beautiful views to wake up to with the water opposite.

Arrived in the dark, so we were totally blown away in the morning with the view! Was a very comfortable unit, comfy bed and warm. Just what we needed before the long drive to Dunedin the next day. The staff were really nice, and we had to call them because the ferry had got in late, and they were fine...

It is a nice motel with the beach right across the road. The room is clean and comfortable. Kitchen has everything we need to make our own meal. It is on a main road near the south end of the peninsula so it is easy to find and not noisy. We arrived a bit early when the staff is still...
