We stumbled on this hotel through a car problem that saw us stranded in town for several days. This hotel turned out to be a wonderful place to stay for a few nights, with a comfortable queen bed, aircon, hot shower with good pressure, and everything we required. Our room had a mini-fridge, small table + 2 chairs, wardrobe, toaster,...

Friendly, Staff and Management. Clean rooms and beautiful surrounds. Well worth hunting this place out. Quiet and a great breakfast. Andrew and Marie are down to earth with a genuine interest. Second time here for us and we will definately be back.

Excellent motel. Older style but very nice. A great feel. Staff very fiendly & helpful. Robyn in the office very informative and helpful. Manager Andrew very friendly & good to see him out & about. Very reasonable tariff. Rooms, pool & grounds very clean. Highly recommend it for a stopover.

The rooms are in need of an update. It felt like going back in time. Small bed. Needs to be a queen. However room size dictates that. Great pool. Location is difficult to get essentials and food as Restaurant was closed.

As you booked on line Greg, one must query if your required a Queen Bed why you didn't book a Queen bed. Unsure if you have us confused ALL our Retro Double rooms have been renovated with new furniture, beds, flat screen TV's and a like. You reviewed the room Online and got what you booked. Safe travels though.

We had a good stay here. The rooms are comfortable, but a bit on the small side. OK for an overnight, but small for any extended stay. The beds are just double beds, & have obviously seen a few stays. . They could do with an upgrade.

Family room booked and everything was good. Fun in the pool in the heat on arrival. Good dinner walking distance away and a sound sleep before the end of our road trip. Can't be beaten in Port Augusta!

Great position, very helpful staff, especially as I was arriving very late. Went out of their way to advise places of interest to see. Was able to acces room with instructions, as owner away for the night.

Very friendly, quiet, clean and comfortable stopover. The pool was so refreshing after baking in the 43° temperature and the buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We are definitely stopping there on our way back and would recommend it to anyone looking for excellent value for money.

As always amazing hospitality from Andrew and Maria. Everything is very clean, organised and nothing is too much trouble. The pool is welcome in the 45 degree heat we had and the aircon kept us cool at night. Thanks for a fantastic stay. We'll probably see you on the way back! 😉

Good location close to major roads, yet very quiet location. Good value for money, friendly staff, well appointed rooms, comfortable beds and small but functional bathroom. The small air conditioner was ok but may struggle on really hot days.
