We stayed in this very quiet and peaceful camp in our motorhome for only one night (sadly). It is a small pleasant camp in a great location with views over the water, and only 50 metres from the pebbly spit which leads to Pepin Island. There are several popular walks of various grades nearby. We had been told beforehand that... More

If you think about visiting Nelson, this is a great campground only 20 min out of the city! Top facilities and top management, quiet camp with nice walk up the hill to awesome lookout point over Nelson and Tasman bay.

In my opinion, one of the most important aspects of a campsite are the hosts: after all, I want to feel welcome. Josephine and Nigel are the nicest and friendliest hosts I have ever encountered. They are already reason enough to visit this site! If you need more convincing, yet, their camping ground offers shaded, powered spots with nice grass.... More

I stayed here for 2 nights in late January with my caravan. This is an amazing little camp with a very helpful owner in Josephine and great facilities. Showers and toilets are very clean and the kitchen looks extremely well equipped for those who need it. A variety of sites down at road level and a number of more secluded... More

After touring the South Island this was a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Small, friendly, spotless amenities and very helpful hosts. Although the beach is pebbly at high tide there is a lovely sandy beach at low tide - very sheltered, pleasant swimming. A bonus that there is a cafe next door that services really good coffee & interesting... More

We spent 10 nights here with family and it was just fantastic. Jo and Nigel are the best hosts and the place is clean and organized with a relaxed friendly atmosphere. We have an 11 metre motorhome plus a trailer and we had no issues getting in and out and they gave us a lovely site at the rear of... More

A perfect campsite in a stunning location. But what made the stay even more enjoyable was the friendliness of everyone. Jo runs a great setup, very clean, everything works and you have all you need for a relaxing time. I think the location is amazing, on the sea shore by a good walking track but protected from winds and a... More
