We had a few nights here and were really impressed. Our room was huge, nicely furnished, well equipped and had a good bathroom. The guest laundry was useful as was the option of the diy continental breakfast delivered to our room. Although we didn't use it the communal kitchen looked to be very clean and well equipped too. There was...

Des was very welcoming and provided suggestions for dinner and activities. We took advantage of the laundry room and that was extremely easy and helpful. The rooms were large and parking easy. Only a 10 min drive to Nelson, so easy to get to Abel Tasman or other nearby activities.

We stayed here for 3 nights on the last leg of our South Island tour before driving to Picton to catch the ferry to the North island. Our G/F room was exceptionally large, tastefully furnished and scrupulously clean. There were large balcony doors to the patio with two deck chairs outside. The room had a small wardrobe, king size bed,...

Our room was so clean and tidy. Beautiful fresh white roses, and pink lillys was such a nice touch. I requested at my cost to make the room a little more romantic, they went out of their way to get some bubbles and our favorite chocolates as a surprise for my partner. Lovely people to deal with, even called to...

We have always liked the look of Saxton Lodge when visiting Nelson, so finally stayed here and wasn't disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was a Deluxe room with a king bed, tea and coffee provided in room and there is a kitchen facility, on the ground floor, where you can prepare you own...

We took the last room here and got a big room with 2 single beds and a double. It was very clean and tidy. The staff were super helpful. We used the bowls and spoons from the shared kitchen for breakfast in our room, and washed them down there before returning them. The kitchen appeared to have everything you'd need...
