We had three nights at Lesley's B&B and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lesley was a great host and a brilliant chef! Our breakfast was amazing everything you would expect to get from a 5 star hotel let alone a B&B cooked to perfection with quality organic produce. Thoroughly recommend for anyone wanting to visit the beautiful Bay of Islands...

Thanks very much to Lesley for the warm welcome and a relaxing stay in this beautiful place. Rooms with style, lovely garden and an excellent breakfast on the terrace in sun. We really enjoyed our two nights stay in Russel even more thanks to Lesley's!

Lesley was the most friendly host with great and helpful advice. We were there for 3 nights in the double bed with our own bathroom (stunning bath tub!). The place is very uniquely designed (tiny footprints of her children in the concrete) with a touch of Polynesian influence (giant sea shells everywhere!). Walls were decorated with interesting paintings done by...

I have just spent the most amazingly peaceful 5 days at Leasley. It is truly a place of peace and traquility. The birds fill the garden with song, the garden is amazing and the breakfasr 5 star. The ensuite has a quaint roll top bath and the bed is like a nest. All in all I cant compliment Lesley enough...

We arrived late after a four hour drive from Aukland and a 26 hour haul from Japan! Exhausted but delighted to be in Northland, we were welcomed by Lesley into her beautiful home with a hot cup of coffee and smiles. Billie the staffie was an additional unexpected pleasure, sweet and very sociable, we soon felt at home. Breakfast at...

I stayed at Lesley's B&B a few years ago now, just getting round to doing reviews of my trips! I booked the room at the last minute and she had a beautiful cosy room available. Lesley collected me from the ferry and made me feel so welcome. It was at the end of a 3 month trip around NZ and...

My husband and I stayed in for one night in December and wanted to stay for longer...Lesley is very nice and welcoming and her house is a warm reflection of her personality and artistic talent, making for a very relaxing athmosphere. The bedroom and bathroom were clean, bright and airy and we thoroughly enjoyed our beautiful breakfast outdoors; homemade yoghurt...

A paradise of art and design and sub-tropical gardens - not to mention the amazing breakfasts of organic mueslis, fruit, omelettes, waffles, bacon and eggs. The B&B has a lovely private bathroom, dining area and 2 bedrooms (one a loft). Lesley has poured her artistic love and excellent hosting in to this lovely little B&B a pleasant 10 min walk...

Stayed a couple of nights here in December 2011 and it was really lovely. Lesley the owner was very nice and also cooked us a fantastic breakfast (we had waffles with fresh fruit and muesli and yoghurt! yummy!). Lesley also told us some of the places that we should go to in Russell which was really good as well. The...
