Brad and David are just the best! You feel so at home when we stayed there. We visited the Arcadia Lodge 6 years ago for 1 day. Because it was such a great 1 day visit, we stayed 5 days this time, first week of November. The food, the accomodations, the view of the bay, immaculately kept. When we return... More

David and Brad have created a charming space with a great location overlooking the harbor. Our only complaint is that we didn't book more nights here! Fine furnishings and home-cooked hot breakfast were a wonderful start to our 3-week trip in NZ. Would definitely be back if we visit again!

We stayed at Arcadia Lodge for 2 nights whilst on Honeymoon travelling around New Zealand. We couldn't fault the accommodation, location, food or hosts and had an amazing time. David and Brad were perfect hosts and made delicious breakfasts which varied each day. We ate outside (weather permitting) overlooking the stunning bay. The accommodation is a 5 min walk from... We had 3 fabulous nights in this wonderfully decorated and spotlessly clean house. David and Brad have created a peaceful haven on the hill over looking the harbour. The ferry, cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance of the house. We would have loved to have spent more time sitting on the decking but sightseeing and time over... More

Brad and David are fabulous hosts of a property with charm and lots of character. Their attention to detail is evident in the furnishings, toiletries, breakfasts and little touches throughout the property. The B&B is superbly located for Bay of Islands activities; it has great views and is an easy walk into town. Highly recommended.

We were in New Zealand for our second visit so have spent over 5 weeks there in total. This was our favorite accommodation. We loved our beautiful room overlooking the bay in Russell and were very appreciative of the excellent advice and attention given to us by the hosts. The breakfasts were excellent and served with care. When we encountered... More
