An historical house in a beautiful setting, Arcadia Lodge is a perfect base for a visit to RUssell. The rooms are immaculately kept & each morning a delicious breakfast is served. David & Brad are always happy to give advice on what to do round and about. We liked it so much 3 years ago that we returned again this...

We had 3 fabulous nights in this wonderfully decorated and spotlessly clean house. David and Brad have created a peaceful haven on the hill over looking the harbour. The ferry, cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance of the house. We would have loved to have spent more time sitting on the decking but sightseeing and time over...

Brad and David are fabulous hosts of a property with charm and lots of character. Their attention to detail is evident in the furnishings, toiletries, breakfasts and little touches throughout the property. The B&B is superbly located for Bay of Islands activities; it has great views and is an easy walk into town. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a spectacular 5 nights in this superb lodging. David and Brad are great hosts. The lodge itself has a classic aesthetic that's very pleasing. Breakfasts were very tasty with many special touches like the homemade lime marmalade that's the best I've ever had. We appreciated David's special efforts to arrange trips for us, including a...

David and Brad are so friendly and they do work so hard to make your visit so special. Their welcome is so good, you think you have known them for a long time as friends. Starting at the top. Our bedroom was on the first floor at the front of the house right overlooking the wonderful bay (so relaxing). The...

We stayed for two nights in March and David and Brad looked after us extremely well. The accomodation was spacious, well appointed and beautifully decorated. Sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine and looking out at the stunning view over the bay was amazing. Breakfast was delicious on both mornings - everything homemade and a bit different from...
