We stayed at this location for a friends wedding over Labour Weekend 2015. We didn't know the Hawke's Bay area very well so were happy to find out how central but quiet this accommodation was. With lots of eateries and supermarkets only a 10 minute walk away. The kitchen was fully equipped and modern and the spa bath was lovely....

This is a newish motel with great attention to detail and as far as I noticed has everything you might want. We stayed in an executive room that had a bit of extra space, including a very nice leather couch, table with two chairs, desk and chair etc. Decent sized wardrobe. Large TV with lots of channels, DVD player etc...

We had a 3 night stay for my mum's 70th birthday. Our room was beautiful and the decor outstanding, I liked that the curtains blocked out the motel and streets lights at night, we especially loved the spa bath. Towels were changed daily and we were asked if we wanted clean linen. Our room was at the back so was...

We spent 2 nights at the Omahu Motor Lodge and it was great. The beds were really comfortable the mattresses were soft/medium. Feather pillows. The room was spacious and very clean with kitchen facilities; microwave; hotplates. Mmmm plunger coffee if you wanted to make yourself one. We were at the rear of the complex and so there was no issue...

Fantastic hosts, very helpful and obliging, The one bedroom unit we were in was very spacious, with a more than adequate kitchen area and all definitely kept maintained to a high standard, it was not cold and clinical like other motels we have stayed at but homely in a luxurious manner, nicely decorated and I especially appreciated the Red touches...

Two things we look for in a motel (and, sadly, don't always find) - a high standard of cleanliness and good lighting. Omahu Motor Lodge ticked both those boxes. Just one night to attend a wedding west of Hastings, a choice made largely from TripAdvisor reviews and we're happy. Just a short walk to a dairy cum bakery plus a...

Very nice Motel. The rooms are nice, spacious and clean. They are equipped with a small kitchen like most Motels and our room had a spa bath. Location is close to many restaurants and shopping places. We'd stay there again if in that area.

We called into Omahu Motor Lodge over Labour weekend 2014, having had to extend our stay due to my vehicle breaking down as we arrived on the Sunday. No mechanics open until the Tuesday and the need to have parts flown down from Auckland meant we had to stay two more days than we'd planned. As our original accommodation was...

I've stayed here every week for the past 5 weeks. The motel is modern, complete with a fully equipped kitchenette. The rooms are spacious and spotless. If I could find a reason to complain, it would be with the internet where it as a bit hit and miss depending what room your in.

A modern motel, clean and comfortable. Friendly host. Good choice of TV channels. Highly recommended for business and pleasure. Unlike so called international hotels wifi is free. Can't think of more to say but I have to fill 200 spaces. Opposite hospital if you fancy a quick transplant during yor stay.

“Room 19 Fantastic comfortable Queen bed, there was roadside noise especially noisy Fri and Sat with boy racer cars but OK even for me who is very sensitive to noise but more importantly well sound proofed for other noise, I did not hear anything at all through the walls from adjoining units, lovely big shower with great pressure and we had sun late in the day so room was nice and warm when we got in. Good adequate kitchen even though we did not use it. Only negative if you need to access Wifi in room 19 it was very bad in this room in the 5 days I very seldom could stay on for more than a few minutes at a time, neither day or night !!!! unless I was outside then no problem, but when doors and curtains shut and inside practically impossible and frustrating. Did pass this on to owner when leaving.”
