If you want a quiet place to stay in a wonderful location (close to Havelock North) and all of the wineries this is the place to stay. The cottages are immaculately presented, and include excellent amenities. The pool is gorgeous and an extra bonus for a long hot summers day. Carol is a wonderful host, who goes above and beyond...

The cottages are in a gorgeous rural setting, but only a few minutes' drive from the lovely town of Havelock North with great dining, shopping and a god supermarket. Carol is fantastic. She greeted us on arrival with ice creams for everyone which was so welcomed after a long car journey, she made sure we had everything we needed throughout...

Carol was a wonderful host and the cottages were very comfortable and well appointed. You can even use their pool which is nestled in amongst mature trees in their lovely garden. We loved it so much we booked for an extra night! Their situation is ideal as it's only 5 minutes away by car from Havelock North. We didn't really...

The unit/cottage we got was a two bedrooms cottage. The place is next to a beautiful apple orchard. The place is clean and filled with absolutely everything you need. Owner Carol is so nice and friendly. You get to have the whole unit to yourself, perfect for families with children. We stayed here for 2 nights. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautifully appointed two bedroom cottage set amongst the apple orchards just outside Hastings. A great kitchen with all the essentials provided. A huge tv to watch England beat Scotland in the 6 nations!! Big comfortable beds and excellent super clean bathrooms. Max and Carol were hugely hospitable bringing local milk and a...

What a lovely review! Thank you so much! We really enjoyed having you all stay and we would love you all to come back again to visit us! We are pleased that you enjoyed Birdwoods Gallery and their Old Fashioned Sweet Shop as well as it is one of my favourite cafes.

What a great place to stay in Hastings. Far enough away from the city for peace and quiet, and close enough to all major attractions. Clean and tidy with great space and airiness, well-appointed kitchen, very comfortable and livable self-contained separate cottages. Great service from Carol and Max.

We booked the day before our arrival, and were pleased to find a property like Bluebell available for two nights. Entrance isn't the easiest to find; we had to make a second pass (it's easier to see coming from Havelock North). The cottage was clean and comfortable if a bit small, but this wasn't a real issue. Carol (the owner)...

I have been staying at the Bluebell for some time now and never been disappointed. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a lot of thought has gone into fitting them out with almost everything on hand you need in the kitchen. The hosts are just lovely - always on hand if you need anything (which usually they have thought of...
