After a wilderness trip hunting, with limited success the big Lapland salmon this was a chance to make ourselves presentable before rejoining civilised society. The meal is a set one and was delicious, although admittedly our judgement may not have been too finely honed after a week of camp cooking. The host was delightful and a fine craftsman happy to...

Cannot recommend Lapland Incentive highly enough. Johan and Eva are unbelievably warm, generous people. Such a cosy and lovely place to stay, such incredible food, such great memories. They really know how to take care of you, and they understand exactly what people want from their trips to north Sweden. Excellent people in a wonderful place, will no doubt be...

This was our second stay at the guesthouse and won't be our last. The hosts, Johan and Eva, have created a cosy, comfortable and convivial environment from which to experience all of the amazing adventures that the far north has to offer, with plenty of well-organised activities. But even people like me - a city princess with little interest in...

There are some experiences in life that are simply so extraordinary, so magical, they remain with us always. My week in Kangos was such a moment in time, but it wasn't just the adrenalin rush of racing snow-mobiles across frozen swamps, dog sledding around icey lakes, lunching around the camp fire, cross country skiing, ice-fishing or even the transcendent Northern...

While you are surrounded by a thick white blanket of snow outside, Johan and his friendly family make sure you have the best time of your life. I spent one week there, doing exciting activities like husky-drawn sleigh riding, snowmobiling and fishing on a frozen lake. The food, from breakfast to dinner, is absolutely delicious as Johan makes sure in...

We had the most fantastically enjoyable time in a wonderful location. The activities were great fun - even though we didn't catch any fish when we went ice fishing! One highlight was watching Albin being chased by a herd of reindeers trying to get to the food he was carrying! Johan, his family and everyone else made us feel so...

“Room Tip: homely, very clean, fresh, contemporary, welcome , very comfortable and warm even in the exteme freezing Arctic winter of -20 to -30. We had 2 rooms, both individually decorated with Swedish theme - ours was festive and has a balcony. Lovely view of dawn on a clear morning.”
