We stayed here for one night for the Yellow Water sunrise cruise and wished we had stayed longer instead of at Kakadu Lodge. We booked a newly renovated Garden Room for $229, It was spacious. tastefully decorated with a large bathroom and private outdoor seating. Bed and bedding made for a very peaceful sleep, with air conditioning that was excellent...

Stayed 3 nights in our campervan. Excellent sites especially for the Northern Territory which can be pretty dry, two pools, friendly staff, clean facilities. Shuttle bus to Yellow Waters cruises (outstanding) as road and car park currently closed due to high water levels. Bistro meals ordinary and make sure you have insect repellant. A great stay. $41 P/N for a...

We stayed at Cooinda for two nights in the caravan park. This place has an idyllic position so close to the Yellow Waters cruise which was a highlight of our stay at Kakadu NP. Also the walk for Sunset at Ubirri. Cooinda Lodge lacked the feeling of being loved. Everything appeared tired and the cleaning of the amenities was poor....

We stayed in the caravan park for 4 nites. Used it as our base. They keep the grass as green as possible for the time of year we we're here. Amenities cleaned every day but with the amount of tourists here they really need cleaning twice as by the evening they are really quiet dirty. Laundry pretty good as is...

We stayed two nights at Cooinda Lodge as it was close to Yellow Water Cruises. We stayed in one of their standard room. The garden and the bungalows are nice and well kept from outside but inside the room everything is a bit dated and the rom was not 100% clean (the terrace was not swept, the ashtray wasn't emptied...

We came to Kakadu and based ourselves in Cooinda as it was close to Yellow Water and what we needed. The park has lovely greenery and a nice pool. Wasn't happy that the sites weren't allocated. We were in a hired van and the only way we can get around is by driving the van. We left for a day...

Hello SammysHardToImpress, Thank you for taking the time to post your comments about the stay with us, I regret that you had issues with the camp ground and your space not being there after returning from a day in the park. Out in the middle of nowhere is this well maintained place. Kick off point for various tours such as the Yellow water tour of the wetlands. We stayed in the refurbished rooms which was worth the extra. Neat clean and well looked after. The pools are a very welcome place to be in this hot climate! The food better than...
