Everything we wanted and more. The staff were accommodating and friendly and the scenery~AMAZING! bottled water always available, mini fridge in room, wifi in the common area, delicious homemade breakfasts(!), privacy and small town feel. A little removed from everything (Soliman Bay is outside of Tulum) but totally worth it if you just want to relax away from it all,...

What a find! We never thought it would be such an awesome experience! We were going to do so much site seeing, etc.. but almost the entire time we chose to just hang out and relax at this beautiful place. It was so nice to go to a place that was not a large hotel with lots of visitors. This...

Our family rented both of the B&B rooms, one for parents, one for 2 teens. We loved snorkeling right off of the beach, hanging by the pool, getting massages on the beach, and cooling off under the palapa. The proprietors are wonderful and helpful. Great breakfasts!! Definitely check out the Grand Cenote'. Of all the cenotes in the area, it...

We stayed at This villa for the 2nd part of our Mexico trip, for relaxation, and privacy while visiting the Tulum area. This place is beautiful and quaint little bed and breakfast, and just as I imagined it would be. The villa: It is right on hte beach. The beach area is not large, but perfect for one or 2...

Review - Villa Dolce Vita Do you want this: … an absolutely gorgeous property with flowers and coconuts to have machetted down for you to sip. … hosts who let you into their “home/property” but never intrude, yet magically are there to give you company when you most need it (the magic of tuned-in New Yorkers). … A lovely mid-sized...

This is a tropical gem. On my first trip to Mexico, I was looking for a place that was clean and charming and away from the crowds. I wanted to experience the beach, the food and the culture of the area. We stayed here for five nights and boy, did we! Connie and Chris are excellent host. The setting of...

We stayed are several nice places during our 3+ week trip in Mexico, but our 8-day stay at Villa Dolce Vita was definitely the highlight of our trip. The villa location right on the Caribbean beach was even more beautiful than we expected, the delicious breakfasts with such a variety of hot entrees was a welcome change, and the owners...

Our stay at Villa Dolce Vita was exceptional. We spent 8 days lounging on the beach, snorkeling / kayaking on Soliman Bay and seeing the sights of the Tulum area. Our goal was to sit back and relax for this vacation. We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the major hotels of Cancun. Villa Dolce Vita...

I read with interest the review from Eliza33 from New Jersey and was really taken aback. I am not sure what they expected but jeez, having rocks in the water and wind at the beach is truly a bummer. Actually the rocks are coral and imagine that, having wind by the sea! Actually this is probably the best place we...

Willa Dolce Vita was very peaceful. The houses along this Bay are all privately owned. So there are not vendors, or people constantly coming up to you to sell things. There is a guard that patrons this Bay 24/7. The B&B is quiet. Breakfast is included and is very delicious, you sit out under the palapa and look out over the...
