We were restricted in our choice of accomodation as we needed two separate beds, and most places only offered double rooms. We stayed in the Habiscus suite at Villa Touloulou.
Calvin met us at the bottom of the drive even though it was now well into the evening, and showed us around. The kitchen contained all that is required for cooking and eating and included a couple of bottles of beer and water (a bottle of milk would have been really welcome!). It was too late to go out and find a restaurant so it was an early night with no food!
Next morning we explored the building. One double bedroom (with mosquito net) led on to the bathroom with shower, and well stocked with toiletries. The second bed is in the kitchen/entrance area, with a sofa.
Through the main door is a huge balcony with table and four chairs, two separate armchairs, and a sunbed. It was great to sit out on the balcony for breakfast and dinner, joined by all the cheeky garden birds seeking out crumbs. The view over Falmouth Harbour was superb.
The road to the Villa from the main road was difficult, full of potholes which flooded in the regular rain, and our taxi had difficulty in getting up the steep approach.
Calvin was really helpful throughout, solving issues that arose, and recommending a really good taxi driver.
Overall, a really good place to stay in the Falmouth Harbour area.

This is our second visit to Villa Touloulou. We stayed for 3 weeks. Calvin is an exceptional host and we really appreciated all the little extras that were provided. Lots of kitchen equipment plus tea, coffee, oil and condiments. In the bathroom we were left beautiful soaps, shampoo and conditioners. The villa itself was spacious, spotlessly clean and with the most stunning view across English harbour. There was also a laundry we could use with washer and dryer. An exceptional property

Our stay was strictly business for my girlfriend and myself as we were working here to utilise the current 14 day “get into US” loophole. We stayed in the red passion suite which had an outside kitchen and incredible balcony with truly breathtaking views over Falmouth Harbour and Montserrat. The villa has a perfect setup, well equipped with everything you need to live in Antigua and an amazing host, Calvin. He showed us around the first day, stopped at the supermarket so we could stock up on supplies, was very responsive throughout our stay and extremely helpful. Although bars and restaurants were closed during our September 2020 stay (due to Covid), the supermarket and restaurants (which provided takeaway service) were a refreshing 20 minute walk away, along with Pigeon Beach with friendly locals and a great vibe. The villa is incredible, in a beautiful unspoilt part of the island and highly recommended.

Situated up a hill looking out over English Harbour , this apartment was beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Calvin was an excellent host and promptly replied to messages before we arrived and during our stay. He thoughtfully surprised us with bottle of fizz and home made pastries for our wedding anniversary which made it even more special .
We do hope we can return in the future.

Really beautiful place with fantastic views, well equipped kitchens, internet, and laundry. Also the property manager Calvin is very proactive and helpful. The location is close to the English Harbour with restaurants/beach as well as about 30 minutes to the east cost or west cost. Oh did I mention the views? You probably enjoy your experience more with a car though.

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely week at Villa Touloulou. Our host Calvin could not have been more helpful and responsive. We stayed in the Blue Lotus room, which was elegantly decorated. The kitchen was perfectly set up for making our meals. The villa is a short drive or a longer walk to all the restaurants and grocery store. The two closest beaches (Pigeon & Galleon) are both a paradise for snorkeling with turtles, discovering the amazing rock formations, and watching the sunset! We highly recommend this place!

Exactly as advertised with absolutely gorgeous views. About a 15-20 minute walk from English Harbour so we did taxi a lot everywhere but that was very easy. Calvin the villa manager was incredibly helpful. Highly recommend this as a spot to stay!

My boyfriend and I spent a week at Villa Touloulou last month. This was our second stay at Villa Toulou and we loved it even more. We took our friend along this time who was completely impressed with the views, decor, and amenities. I can't imagine staying anywhere else while visiting Antigua. Calvin is always available and extremely helpful. We stayed in the Glory Lilly suite which is spacious but so cozy and lovely. The kitchen was fully equipped. The views were amazing. You will need a car for easier transporation. Highly recommend this lovely villa!

Lovely views over the bay. Well equipped with good kitchen. We were greeted upon our arrival by Calvin who looked after us throughout our stay, from the loan of a local mobile phone to essentials for the fridge.

Are you walking distance to any restaurants? We are staying with you this fall
Answer from Stephen Young
Calgary, Canada326 contributions129 helpful votes
Hmm. Well I had a rental car (which I recommend) because of where it's located. And I don't own it. But some friends of mine do (Christoph & Mark). It is set back off the main road so that in itself would be a walk. But you know Mark or Christoph would likely drive you where ever you might want to go (if they're free). I'm going to say: "Rent a car". But don't pay more than $25 per day. That might take a bit of haggling because they might start you at $80-100. Tell them you want a jeep. That is what they call locally a Toyota Rav4. You could walk, but it would take too long. Well that's my advice :)
