I recently stayed at the Heart Hotel and Gallery Whitsundays and from the reception staff when i was checking in and checking out who were extremely professional and friendly to the beautiful room I stayed in, the little luxury touches in the room just made me feel so relaxed. Highly recommend staying here.

The receptionist was warm and welcoming. It’s a good location, right in the heart of the town (npi). There’s a coffee machine in the room, and 2 bottles of water were provided. The room is light filled with ample windows. It has air con, a ceiling fan and a small balcony. It was a tiny room, we booked a room with water views but no disclosure that in the foreground the view is a huge car park. The movie channel wouldn’t work, after making a selection it just stayed loading for 10 mins. The carpet didn’t feel clean, kind of sticky. The shower had mold and the cleaner didn’t even take the last guests soap bar from the shower. The pillowcases smelled of bleach, not ideal when trying to fall asleep. Glad this was a transit hotel for only one night for us. This place isn’t overly expensive but I would expect the above to be rectified for any hotel. We won’t choose this hotel again.

Wow what a disappointment. We stayed 2 nights (supposed to be 3) and had the worse sleep ever! Checked out due to bed shaped line a banana and crippled both of us during our stay. Found out after further investigation the bed was actually broken but hotel will still take $250 per night off you without any compensation. The rooms were so so small it was a disgrace! My beef with this hotel is as follows….. Bed Front desk lady (Alison), seriously if you don’t like your job move on. If I owned this place I would of sacked her in a heartbeat….owners read the reviews and make change! Room size was pita full Hot water didn’t really exist Balcony was non existent Noise was unbearable Not clean Nowhere to place your soap in shower, they didn’t even have a soap holder so soap thrown on floor My mistake was not reading all the reviews! Never again ever will I stay there or recommend this place. The o lay silver lining was when I complained about the bed the lady whose name I did not get was lovely and refunded for one night I did not stay. This place is not what they describe. It is not a gallery, it is not boutique it’s just bad bad bad

Very pricey shoe box sized room located next to noisy public car park. Awoken at 5 am to very loud street sweeper and then again at 6 am by garbage truck. Delivery trucks for local businesses started arriving around 7 am. Shower splutters hot and cold water and fridge even at coldest setting doesn’t keep anything very chilled. The best part was the fluffy towels but sad that this was the highlight.

Stayed overnight on way to Hamilton Island. Overpriced small room overlooking noisy public car park (which also doubles as hotel carpark). Only redeeming feature was staff who were very helpful. Unlikely to return.
