We drove in to town from Strahan, and it was right there! A VERY reasonably priced little place, lovely warm, clean tidy units, and very close to the supermarket, the pub, the museum/info centre, and gateways to both eastern highways, and west - Queenstown is a beautiful little spot, so much colour, history, antiquity, uniqueness, and this little motel was...

It had been snowing and we were welcomed after a full days driving in the cold with a clean large room. Be prepared wifi is slow in this area. The town is very small- it is just a stop over place but cosy and very enjoyable.

A fairly good budget accommodation. We stayed one night, and the twin room was comfortable, and has the necessary items, including a fridge. The owners are friendly and helpful. In fact, after checking out we realised we left an item behind, and did not return until over an hour later, and the owners were happy to help us looking for...

This is BUDGET accommodation but we liked it. Traveling on our motorcycles around Tassie we have stayed in a good mix of accommodation and Mountain View was very good for us. It has character and the staff were friendly. The room we had was large which was great to drop all our luggage, while we toured the area, and we...

Quiet, clean and comfortable. The accommodation was originally built in support of the local gold and copper mine, and has been modified into tourist motel units. The internal layout seems unusual at first, with the space divided roughly in half, with the sleeping / resting / TV in one half, and ablutions and kitchen in the other. After a two...
