AC wasn’t working at all from the first day. The maintenance guy came up twice and reset the setting, which only made the AC work for about 10 mins. We called the guest service again, but they said the maintenance guy had already finished work and so that we had to wait until the next day. We waited without any complaint, and here comes the next day - they came up with the new maintenance guy and said that they would give me a call whether or not the AC is fixed or not so that we are assured that it is fixed and if not, then that they can secure another room for us. They didn’t update anything with me, so I called up and got a confirmation that it was working for sure. So we returned to the room at around seven and found that it still was not working. So I called up again and asked for another room. And the manager was saying that there's no room available and that they can only let us into another one the next day afternoon. The problem here is not only that we had to spend nights with cold air when two of our families were suffering from cold, nasty flu, but also is the attitude of the manager and other staff. They acted like they had no responsibility and did not even apologise properly. Never going back there again for sure, and I recommend you to firmly ask for what you paid from the beginning. We were understanding and nice to them, and see how they reacted. What a shame. I hope another Meriton chain has a better quality service.…
Meriton Chatswood is an outstanding property. We had a spacious 2 bedroom apartment on the top floor (31) with spectacular views over the city. Loved the location with convenient shopping, transport and hundreds of excellent restaurants (from all regions of the world) within walking distance. Apartment was spotless, staff were friendly and efficient, parking next door was easy. Will be back!
All the staff was very friendly and helpful. One problem I had was I had an insulated bag in the kitchen with fruit in it and I put a couple of empty bottles in with the fruit. The next day I found the bag empty. I can’t understand why staff had to touch the bag. I enjoyed staying at the hotel as it was handy to so much.
I stayed here for about three weeks following my move from the UK to Australia. Not been a great experience, especially when it comes to amenities. The room is fine etc but since the cleaning service is once a week I feel the staff can supply more of the cosmetics, toilet paper, tea and coffee. I had to go and ask almost every day, then they bring it and it's one roll of toilet paper. Or another time the staff wouldn't leave any shower gel, or coffee. The desk is always busy so maybe it would be easier for them, especially if someone is staying there for more than just a few days. I was so excited to use the sauna but when I went down someone left the door open and it was cold. I also had no internet for about 8 hours and I needed it for work. The internet went down in the whole building for a short time but sadly my floor and a couple of others didn't get back until 8 hours later. One other thing was that I was apparently undercharged by $41 so the staff thought I would be a good idea to just charge my card without even notifying me. I then had a hard time getting through to someone to get an explanation. No one thought that maybe they should call me rather than just charge my card without my knowledge or permission. I stayed in a Meriton in Sydney before but not in Chatswood. Following this experience I would not stay in Chatswood again. …
I have chosen Meriton Suites Chatswood for several years in a row, because it is convenient and close to the station, the parking fee is only $25 per a night, and the room space is large and Internet is good, and every employee is very polite. so it is suitable for business trips and holiday travel.
I always love coming to the Meriton at Chatswood. Location is top notch, and has easy access to food, shopping centres and public transport links. Rooms are large and contain everything you could possibly need for your stay. The laundry is a lovely bonus.

Excellent place to stay. Staff at reception are very friendly.Property is very convenient from chatswood station, view is excellent from top floor. Property is maintained very nicely, it’s neat and clean.
The stay was very good and comfortable. Location is excellent, well connected with train station etc. One improvement is desirable: covid times are now gone and on account of covid providing weekly deep clean service is not appropriate. Daily room cleaning services should be provided.
