I was lucky enough to stay for 3 nights in the River Hut with my Aunt and Uncle who were over visiting from Canada. From the first minute being greeted by Brett and Buster and shown down to our hut by the chickens, the fantastic welcome pack (Brett knows his wines!) it was simply wonderful. The hut is beautifully considered...

I booked this holiday for my husbands 40th birthday as he had wanted to go to Moonbah hut for a long time and it took us awhile to be able to afford to go. We were very excited!!! When we turned off the main road onto the dirt road we were shocked by the terrible state of the dirt road....

This place is a must to stay at! Brett is a wonderful host and the Cottages are a mix of historic, rustic backcountry charm and luxury B&B. We stayed in the Lake Hut and the heated floors and fireplaces are great touches to keep you cozy and warm in the winter months. Brett had left some lovely chocolates, wine and...

Thank you to Brett and Buster for sharing this little piece of heaven with us. Starting with the delicious array of welcoming gifts, the little things were not forgotten. Everything we needed was provided from tea, olive oil and even the vegemite. The kids loved that they could go to the chicken coop in the morning and collect the eggs...

We stayed in the River Hut. A beautiful hut that looked like it was taken right out of the set from the Man from Snowy River. However this beautiful hut has heated floors, large open fireplace, bathroom with amazing hot water, self contained kitchen, all settled alongside a lovely lake with trout in it. We were also lucky enough to...

Absolutely Amazing. Photos don't do it justice. So peaceful and relaxing. Owner was great guy friendly and left us be to do as we pleased. Can not wait to return. Would love to see it snowed over in Winter. Highly recommend

It is a amazing spot, beautiful accommodation and a great spot to getaway from the busy noisy buzz of life.. The four legged black and white company was pretty special too.. (once you have stayed you will understand)

Perfect location for a quiet getaway. Everything was spot on, from the comfy cabin to the welcome every morning from Buster the wonder dog. Brett is a wonderful host and surprised us with choccies and wine on arrival. Can't speak highly enough of this place. Slice of heaven!

Just what I needed at the end of my trip, breathtaking views, no technology, amazing places to visit and the attention to detail in the River Hut was brilliant, totally relaxing but with all the essentials and Buster to keep me company. Will be back 😊
